Boruto's pov:
I can't believe it he asked me out. HE FINALLY ASKED ME OUT. No way was I gonna let this chance slip. I was gonna impress him. Make him think i'm the only person he'll ever want to look at.
Okay maybe that was a little much but i'm excited, i've never really felt like this before.
Kawaki and I had been friends for some time now but the thought of us actually going on a dad absolutely thrilled me to my core. I was definitely going to be a bit flirtatious but nothing more than the casual compliments you do on a first date
[Time ship to night time and then time of the date]
I CHANGE MY MIND I CAN'T DO THIS. I was waiting for Kawaki at are usual meet up spot and was starting to get a bit nervous. 'Maybe he forgot' I thought as sadness and disappointment started to get to me, 'What kinda werewolf would want to go on a date with me anyway'. I sigh and turn around to leave, but just as I turn to leave I feel to strong arms wrap around my waist hugging me from behind. I jumped for a second and turned my head to see Kawaki smiling " Sorry I was late, some of the betas were fucking around and someone had to step in. You okay, you seem a bit tense." I nodded but I kinda was feeling a bit stupid for doubting him in the first place.
Kawaki was a kind person and I don't know why I thought like that in the first place. Something did catch my attention though, "Hey, what happened to your ears and tail?" I ask whilest pouting. He laughed and says " Where were going I can't be in half human half wolf form." "Oh" I say in a curious tone. I knew this was a date but Kawaki never said exactly where we were going. Kawaki smirks then whispers in my ear "Trust me your gonna love it". I blush lightly and looked away "W-we should get going now." Kawaki backed up and nodded then grabs Boruto's hand and starts walking to there destination.
[Time skip to when they make it to their destination]
"We're here." I hear Kawaki say as I finally uncover my eyes. I noticed we weren't near the forest anymore. I looked around and it was only a matter of seconds when I figured we were in a human town. It was a small village from what he could tell, but only Kawaki new about my fascination about human customs and more. I looked at the building we were standing in front of and could only assume by the fancy letters that this was a restaurant.
I was happy I had never been in a human town before at least not by myself, let alone a restaurant. Kawaki already had a table for us and everything. Turns out on of his long time friends works here and he was able to slide the a reservation. This was amazing I can't believe Kawaki went through all this just for our first date. "Kawaki I really can't thank you enough for this." I say and notice a small smile from him "It's my pleasure really, i'm just glad to finally go out wit someone as cute as you." I hid my blushing face behind my menu and I gasp "Kawaki they have milkshakes!" I heard him chuckle and he just let me have my moment. After a while of me awing at the menu we ordered our food and Juat started a regular conversation between each other.
[Time ship to after the dinner.]
(Authors note I know there's a lot of time skips in this one but that's because I've never been good a being very descriptive. Also I forgot to include crude this in the beginning but some chapter later on there will be smutt, just a heads-up. But anyways enjoy.)
We decided to take a walk after being in the restaurant for a while. Then eventually we sat.down on a bench in a near by park and just watched the stars together."Do you ever wonder what it's like to just be one thing and not to?" I asked out of pure curiosity, Kawaki thought for a moment before answering with an "I don't know truly I never thought about it and to thought of being without my pack is a bit I don't know, weird? Why, why do you? Is something wromg?" I shook my.head no and say "Nothings wrong, I just... sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I wa just a vampire, yoy know? At least maybe that would make more sense. Maybe i could make more sense."
Kawaki looked at me in what I can only assume is sadness, "You know your perfect, nothing about you doesn't make sense. You make complete sense, you're just like and other supernatural being if not more better." Kawaki places his hand on my cheek, making me look at him and looked into his eyes. "You are so beautiful and I'd never let anyone treat you better." I blushed, Kawaki always new how to get to him
I blushed more realizing how close wee were to, I stared into his eyes and we leaned closer and before I new it we were kissing. It got a little heated after a while and I pulled away to breathe. I blushing red, and panting, 'So much for being the flirtatious one' I looked at Kawaki and blush even harder if possible.
[Time skip to the walk home]
Kawaki and I had been walking back to where we first met up. Kawaki looks at my for a moment as if he want to ask me something then says,"It's a bit late and I know how far the trip is her from your house. How about you stay with me tonight?" I look at Kawaki for a moment then think about it for a moment before nodding and smiling. "Okay, let's go. It has been a while since I've last seen the pack." I say while smiling.
Kawaki nods in agreement. Welp I guess it's time for a.....
