BORUTO POV:
It had been a good 4 month since me and Kawaki started dating and things were going smoothly. We hadn't been exactly public yet. Kawaki had a pack to take care of and I didn't want to interfere. He still had duties to attend to as alpha so I spent a lot of time at home. Kawaki had brought up the pack a lot now a days. It was strange, I thought it was just him telling me about his life. Oh boy was I wrong.
"I'm sorry, you said what now?" I said not believing what I was hearing. Kawaki chuckled and said "I asked if you'd like to join me and the pack for today's hunt? It's not that big and I want them to get more used to you. You know, since we're...dating now." I shook my head " I know but, hunting? I don't know if that's such a good idea. Plus the pack barely knows me."
Kawaki walks over to Boruto and raps his arms around his waist before pulling him close to him. " Look you're an amazing person B and all I want is for the other people I care about to see that too. I want them to get to know, can you at least try? For me?" I sighed. "Fine I'll give it a go, but only because you really want me too." Kawaki gives me a small smile before kissing my forehead. "Great, go get ready." I smiled back and nodded before making my way to my room to change. This certainly would be interesting.

Me and Kawaki had been walking to the meet up site. "I still don't know if this is a good idea. I mean a lot could go wrong." Kawaki looked at me and says "It's going to be okay, they won't bite." I laughed at the joke and rolled my eyes. "Very funny, but since I'm really doing this I might as well give it my all." I smiled. "That's more like it, I thought you lost yourself. You've been very emotional lately, you okay?" I felt a little uneasy, I had been more emotional but I didn't know exactly what was causing it. " Me? I could never loose all of this." I responded while motioning to myself, deciding to ignore the question.
"B I'm serious, are you sure everything's fine?" Kawaki asked again with a serious tone.
I sigh and tug at the bottom of my shirt slightly. "I'm fine, it's probably just the a human thing or whatever." Sometimes I hated being part human. Kawaki frowned and could see that I was upset. "Come on we're almost there..." He decides to drop it knowing how stubborn I am.
We eventually make it and Kawaki introduces me to the hunters. "Boruto, this it Iwabe, Sumire, and Inojin. Guys this is Boruto, you might remember him from our dinner." Sumire nods "Nice to meet you again." She was very bright, her was purple almost like Hima's hair but lighter.
I hummed "It's nice to see you all again, I can't wait to see you all in action." I smiled.
"The feelings mutual bud, we've been itching to hunt with you." Iwabe says while smirking. Inojin had stayed silent but nodded in agreement. "Huh, funny..." I said. "While I hate to interrupt your bonding we still need to hunt. We'll have plenty of time to talk after the hunt." Kawaki was right we needed to start hunting before dark.
Luckily with all of us hunting was easy not only that but as much as I hate to admit it...I was having fun. Once the hunt was over we all decided to head back to the rest of the pack. "Not so bad vampie, you're pretty good at this." Iwabe said while dust off his hands on his pants. Sumire nods and laughs a bit "I have to agree, I don't think I had that much fun in a hunt before." Inojin finally spoke up "It was definitely more interesting." He hummed. "Maybe he can join us for the next hunt Kawaki." Iwabe insinuates. Kawaki looks at me before saying "That's really up to him." They all look at me for a moment as I think about it. I mean I didn't exactly hate the idea so why not. "Sure, sounds like fun's." I said with a big smile on my face. "Yes!" The hunters cheered.
We eventually made it to the rest of the pack with no complications. I decided I'd stay the night because it was getting dark and I wanted to cuddle with Kawaki. I yawned at I walk into Kawaki's place. "See I told you it would be worth it." "Mhm" I nod. We took off our shoes and Kawaki headed to the kitchen while headed for bed. "Can I borrow some clothes for a shower?" "Yeah go ahead." I grabbed a hoodie and some underwear and shorts. I took my shower, got dressed, and went to the kitchen to check on Kawaki.
I look into the kitchen seeing Kawaki cooking dinner. Kawaki looked over at me "Something wrong?" I shook my head "Nothing, just love the smell of your cooking." I said while smiling. Kawaki puts turns the stove on low to give me his full attention. He does that. "B what's up with you? You've been emotional and very out of it lately. What's bothering you?" He asked as he made his way over to me and caressing my face.
I sigh knowing he's right, I just didn't want to acknowledge it. "I know, you are very right." I've been stubborn and I've been denying my feelings this whole time." He looked me in my eyes before saying "You don't have to do it alone, whatever you're going through I'll be right here. Even if it's some hybrid half human half vampire bullshit." I laugh and slap his arm."You jerk." Kawaki chuckles and smirks "I'm your jerk" I smile and pull him in for a kiss.
Yes he was my jerk indeed, and my jerk sure could pack a punch.

Hey guys, I'm back like a bad habit. Anyways I know I was gone for a while but in my defense...I have life. Ahem, as it was saying. I am going to finish this series, it just took a while for me to get in the writing mood again. I think this is the longest chapter I've wrote so far.
