Mateo's pov: Me and Leah had been bestfriends since middle school, and we'd often have fights, but that's literally the whole point of friendships. I started liking Leah in 11th grade and kept quiet about it. As Leah cheerfully went up to me, I playfully rolled my eyes and she aplogized for waking me up, but it was my fault since, we um, slept together on the couch, but the alarm was loud as hell so it was fine.
~ Time skip ~
Me and Leah were at a diner, when things started to get.....awakard and I was getting mad, but when we went to the diner, got our seats and was ready to order. The waiter was...weird.
" What would you like, cutie? " The waiter winked at Leah, which got me feeling a certain type of jealousy.
" Um, a-are you t-talking to me? " Leah stuttered, usually because he leaned closer to her.
" I would like the bangers and mash please. " She said sweetly ( Just saying it's like a english diner )
" Ok, hot stuff. " He smiled, then turned to me coldly. " What about you dumb face? " He said harshly.
" Damn, well, I'll have the fish n' chips please. " Returning the harshness back in my voice.
He rolled his eyes at me and left. ( They have water, so they didn't need to order drinks ) I turned to Leah and asked if she was okay, she nodded yes, and then, we talked until the stupid waitress came back with our food.
" Here ya go, love, my number's on the plate. " He winked at her and that's when I was fuming and I had the last straw.
" Sir, YOU CAN'T BE FLIRTING WITH A COLLEGE GIRL AND YOU HAVE TO BE AT LEAST, LIKE 35-40 YEARS OLD! WE ARE LEAVING AND NOT TO SOUND LIKE A KEN, BUT I'M GOING TO GET YOU FIRED FOR DOING THAT! " I grabbed Leah's wrist and I stomped out of the diner.
When we got to the dorm, I locked the door and pinned Leah to the wall.
" M-Mateo, are you ok? "
" No, I've kept this feeling for a long time now, and I can't bear it, and now, to get rid of that feeling, cause I know you probably don't feel the same way as me, so I'll do this." I smashed my lips into hers and closed my eyes. She looked at me blankly, but she kissed back.
Ok soooo, I am trying so hard not to be cringe with this story, but hope it's not too cringe.
