"Why do you move so often? " l asked her.She was in her mid -forties, the mother of four .We were sitting talking in her doublewide trailer on the outskirts of the town. Her husband was out in the back , tinkering with an old car.He never sid come in and join us. I wondered why. They seemed like such a fine couple and l'd dropped by to welcome them to our church. When I asked her "how are you? " she suddenly dropped her head , apologised for her tears and she said the past ten years have been hell. Then she told me her story; she'd had an affair over a decade ago in one of the northern countries. Fighting to regain her composure she said v,'when I confessed to my husband what I'd done v, he left me for a week .Then he came back and told me he'd forgiven me and that it was never to be mentioned again. I was so happy. I've tried every way l know to maje up for it
