It was now monday. El slowly opened her eyes. She looked at the clock and it was already 7:49. She immediately rushed to go shower and find some neat clothes. She looked at the clock again and it was already 7:56. "Shit!" she muttered.

She got out of her room and saw her dad eating breakfast. "El! You're finally awake, come and eat breakfast with me." Hopper said.

"No time for breakfast dad! I'm running late for school, see you!" She quickly said. She got on her car and immediately drove to school. Luckily, the school was only 3 minutes away, it wasn't very far. She quickly got out of her car and rushed to her classroom

"El Hopper! You're finally here, we we're waiting for you to come in, so I can finally start the class. Please sit beside Mr. Wheeler." The teacher said. Everyone was staring at her, and she sat beside a raven haired boy. She glanced at him and he looked very cute.

Her thoughts were cut off when he caught her staring at him. "Hey miss, are you, uh, okay? You were staring at me the whole time." She felt her cheeks burn and turn red.

"Oh, uh, sorry." She said and awkwardly looked at the window beside her. She heard the boy chuckle.

"It's fine. The names Micheal Wheeler by the way. No one really calls me Micheal, so you can call me Mike." He said. "Mind telling me your name?"

"My names Eleanor Hopper but please call me El." She smiled, and the boy smiled too. He has a pretty smile.

"Cute name. Uh, meet me after lunch yeah?" El nodded and focused on the teacher.

Class was finally over and it's finally lunch. She put away her books and headed to lunch. She was looking for Mike and saw him seating with 4 other people. She was walking towards them and she sitted beside Mike. She waved at him and he waved back.

"Hey, El. Meet my friends. This is Max, Dustin, Will and Lucas." He introduced them to her.

El waved at them. All of them started eating and talking about school and video games.

"Oh yeah! And by the way, Sophia Jones is throwing a party on friday. Would you like to come, El?" Max said, waiting for her answer.

"I need to ask my dad first. I just need to convince him so he can agree." She chuckled. They all nodded and the bell rang. Everyone went to their classes.

Time skip

It was now after school. She went to her car and drove home. She opened the front door and her dad wasn't there. She sighed. She waited for him to come home so she can ask if she is allowed to come to the party that Max said.

It was now 6:58 pm and saw the front door open. It was her dad and she saw him carry a few bags. She decided to help him carry the bags and put them on the table.

"Hey dad! So I was wondering if I can go to a party on friday? Don't worry though, I won't drink or smoke or get high." He nodded without thinking and saying a single word.

She exclaimed happily and hugged Hopper. "Thanks dad!" She smiled and he smiled too.

"Alright alright, now lets go eat dinner. I bought food by the way." They went to eat dinner.
