"I've seen life's come and pass, but none were as painful yet beautiful as yours"

- Agapi

At some point in our lives, some things seem like the whole universe and even the Gods turned their back on us. This story proves that we were all villains in someone's story, and this time it's the universe and even the beings above us.

It all started decades ago when a beautiful lady who was playing her lyre in nature captured the young lad's heart instantly. His eyes fell upon her beautiful eyes that resemble the color of the woods around them, her angelic voice that sang along to the instrument she is holding. Little does he know; this is the woman that every man desire to capture her heart; the same woman who was envied by every woman.

Her name is Omorfia.

The young lad whose name is Agapi had been drawn to the young woman by the beauty of her music and voice. The two fell in love instantly and deeply, unable to spend a single moment apart. Which made every man and woman back then look at them with such envy and jealousy. After a while, they got married and the God of marriage blessed their union. However, the Gods above predicted that this perfection was not meant to last.

Knowing that a certain Goddess did not like how they both captured every individual's attention rather than giving it to the Goddess above. With this heed, Agapi devised a plan to try and avoid the certain Goddess. Although it looks like the figures above and even the universe did not like how their love is so perfect when they do not even have that from the very beginning.

And as the God of Marriage heeded, this perfection was not meant to last and so it is.

One day a shepherd dwelling nearby devised a plan to conquer the beautiful woman since he deeply hated Agapi. He set an ambush for them in the middle of the forest, and as they approached, he jumped on them in order to kill Agapi.

As the shepherd made his move the lovers started running through the forest. A few steps away, Omorfia noticed a figure ahead of them aiming an arrow through the young lad's heart. As the figure released the arrow and is now on its way to Agapi, she quickly barred herself and ended up catching the arrow that resulted in her death.

The shepherd had abandoned his try, cursing his luck although quite joyful since someone did his dirty deed than himself.

Agapi sang his deep grief with her lover's lyre and managed to move everything, living or not, in the world; both humans and Gods learned about his sorrow and grief, even the very Goddess that targeted the lovers.

And so Agapi decided to descend to the God of the Underworld to bring his wife back to life.

Being a demigod, he could enter the realm of the dead, passing by souls and ghosts of people unknown. With his music and her lover's lyre, he also managed to enchant Cerberus, the three-headed dog that guarded the gates of the Underworld.
