Chapter 6

Your POV-

I was sitting around considering we had no scouting plans and it was so boring. I decided that I'd call a friend in for chess and that person just happened to be my very own captain.

"Greetings captain. Care to join me for some chess?" I asked. He nodded and sat down at the table and we began.

I somehow lost five times in a row before I made my first win. I jumped up and down, cheering in my one victory and Levi chuckled. "It's the first time hearing you chuckle, Captain. It's cute. You should do it around the scouts. They'll totally shit their pants." I said as I laughed. However when I looked up, I saw Levi staring dead in my eye, the smile I saw was long gone. I seriously thought I said something wrong so I apologized but he just laughed... Captain Levi laughed. Holy crap. "(y/n), do you mind telling me about yourself?" He asked. I coughed. "Only if you tell me about yourself first." I smiled and he was caught off guard by the question but eventually agreed. He told me about his mother and a man named Kenny Ackerman that taught him how to be brutal. He also told me about Isabel and Farlan. He wouldn't go into where they were now. Hopefully they're alive. "It's your turn," he said. I could tell his emotion was zapped having to tell his life story. I felt extra obligated to tell him mine.

"Long ago, I was abandoned by my parents at a very young age and Grisha Yeager and his wife took me in. I was raised with Eren and soon Mikasa was adopted. We were your normal innocent kids till Wall Maria was broken by the Colossal. I never saw our mother's death but I saw my father. People assumed that he disappeared but I found him and witnessed him get eaten alive. I regret not doing anything now. Then we began to train to join the scouts. It's basically Eren's story but me not being a titan." I said. I left out my personal relationships and secrets but that was necessary.

Levi's POV-
I could tell she wasn't fully telling the truth but I could tell the truth hurt her, whatever it was. I decided to not pry. She then smiled and got up. "I'm kinda tired. I'm heading to bed" she said. I just noticed that it was night out. I didn't even notice considering how I'm still up at this time doing paperwork. I decided to walk to her room one last time and when I opened the door, I saw her sleeping soundly on her bed. I felt jealousy coming up about how she doesn't have insomnia like me. I can't hate her though. She sees the world for how it is and isn't afraid to die. I don't know if it's admiration or love. I have to wait a little longer till she's eighteen though. I'm twenty four so it's not a bad age gap but I still want to wait till I tell her my heart's feeling but that doesn't mean I won't give her a proper goodnight. I slowly walked up and slowly kissed her lips. Mhm... Cherry flavor. I want a better taste. I kissed her deeply but she didn't wake up. Reminds me of snow white made by Brothers Grimm. I decided to do some paperwork and noticed something. Retaking Wall Maria.


Next day.

Erwin assigned us in the forest and I tasked the scouts with cleaning but they failed. I sweeped under the table and got dust. Eren and (y/n) were the only smart ones and freaked out. I think (y/n) figured out why I'm such a clean freak yesterday. I was living underground where it was always dirty so I try to keep it as clean as possible so I never feel like I'm living in filth ever again. Hange came out and told us that Nick was murdered by the military police. Those shitheads! We are currently hiding out but we heard that two unicorn shitheads appeared. Their names are Hitch and Marlo I think. They decided to not tell anything and we eventually retreated. After having Jean and Armin act like Eren and Historia, Eren and Historia were kidnapped along with (y/n). Kenny, that bastard. I'll kill him with my own hands.

Historia's POV

I understand why me and Eren were kidnapped but why (y/n)? She was just sitting in the corner waiting for something to happen. She was even chained up. That's when my father came in. He immediately looked at (y/n) in disgust. We were then brought into a chapel with an underground of crystals. Eren was tied up to a ledge and (y/n) was tied to a crystal wall. At this point she lost all emotion in her eyes. "So this is the woman Levi is fascinated with?" asked the man in the cowboy hat. No one answered him.

Back to your POV-

Rod Reiss began to explain and I lost it. By this point the scouts were in the cavern fighting Kenny's squad and Rod Reiss was trying to get Historia to ingest the spinal fluid. He mentioned how Grisha killed the royal family except for him. They touched Eren and Eren saw it all. He couldn't see himself though. Standing over Grisha's shoulder, telling him to fight. "EREN MADE THIS FUTURE. HE ONLY LET YOU LIVE BECAUSE IT SUITED HIM IN THE FUTURE> YOU WOULD'VE DIED WITH EVERY ONE OF YOUR BASTARD CHILDREN IF EREN DIDN'T SEE FIT. DO YOU UNDERSTAND, ROD REISS?!?!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. Historia, Eren and Rod along with Kenny were in shock. I'm pretty sure the whole squad heard it but at that rate I don't care. "HISTORIA. DO WHAT YOU THINK IS RIGHT BUT I'LL LET YOU KNOW THAT WHAT YOU PICK WILL EITHER END THE WORLD OR CREATE A NEW ONE. IT'S ALL ON YOU!" I yell even more. Once Historia heard that, she threw the serem to the ground and it broke. She ran to help me and then Eren. By this point, Levi and the others were here. Levi ran up to me to help me up but I told him to help Eren. I then noticed Rod Reiss about to lick the serem up from the floor. "NOOO! I yelled as I tried to run closer but noticed I was too late. I personally put up a hardening barrier around me as the cavern began to collapse and by this time, Eren had his barricade up.

Levi's POV-

"(y/n) was still out there!" I yelled to Eren for not saving her. When the smoke cleared, I noticed a barricade of hardening around her and her eyes glowing. I was in shock but could tell that was her first time using hardening considering she fainted. She woke up when we were at the wall. She got up and looked at the giant Rod Reiss titan which was burning its surroundings. Her face was one of great shock and fear. She then got up and looked at it. It was inclosing fast. "I have a plan. Rod Reiss was dragging his face on the ground which means that half of his face is gone. Eren, you need to transform into your attack titan and throw explosives in his face. The body parts will go flying and then Historia gives the final cut to the nape. The Rod Reiss titan will be gone but also townspeople will not only respect their future queen, Historia." She said, She read our minds without knowing and we weren't even sure if half of him would be gone. She was right. It played out exactly as intended. Historia became queen.

Time skip.

Levi's POV-

It's time to retake Wall Maria and this includes Shiganshina district.
