《 Sonic's POV 》
"Sonic wake up!" I heard a familiar voice say.
I Opened my eyes slowly and saw Tails infront of me, "Tails what are you doing! I'm trying to sleep" I Said
"Sonic its 4 in the afternoon! We're supposed to go to the festival at 5pm" Said Tails
"OH CHAOS! I Forgot about the festival" I Said as i got up and ran to the bathroom.
I walked into the bathroom and closed the door, i then looked in the mirror and started to fix and brush my quills.
"Perfect" I Said as i winked at myself. I washed my face and hands and opened the door. Tails was waiting for me as i got ready.
"Are you ready yet?" Huffed Tails
"Hold on" i said, I bent down and reached my hand underneath my bed. I then pulled out a long white cloth and wrapped it around my arms and legs.
"Now we can go" I Said. Tails walked out of the room and i followed behind him. We opened the door and started walking down the street.
The team was holding a special festival in the village, well not really the "team" Mostly Amy. I'm pretty excited though, everyone is going to be there! Maybe even the "Ultimate lifeform" or whatever he calls himself is going to be there. For some odd reason he's been on my mind a lot, i don't know why or how but he's just stuck in my mind..
I don't like him..right? No! Theres no way i like him. I'm Sonic the hedgehog, hero of the village! I can't have a crush on a..Guy, Right? Why am i even thinking about all this shit. Even if i liked him, he would never like me back.
I face palmed myself and groaned.
"Whats wrong Sonic?" Asked Tails
"Nothing.." I Replied
"Come on Sonic, I'm your best bud. I can tell your upset" Said Tails, "You can tell me anything Sonic, I'm your best pal"
I Looked over at him and sighed, "Fine just don't tell anyone, okay?"
Tails nodded and i walked over to a bench and sat down while Tails sat down beside me.
"So whats going on?" Asked Tails
"Its just that i've been thinking about someone lately, I know its pretty weird but-"
"You like someone?" Said Tails
"Well uhm, not necessarily.." I replied awkwardly
"Ooh, Whose the lucky girl?" Said Tails with a grin on his face
I scratched the back of my head and Said, "Uhm The thing is..I-Its not a-"
"Not a What?" Tails said
"I-Its not a girl.." I Said in Embarrassment.
Tails just stared at me in shock, after a while he finally spoke, "I Support you"
"Really?" I Said
"Of Course i do, It doesn't matter what you are Sonic, You'll always be my best pal" Replied Tails with a huge smile on his face. Tails got closer and pulled me in for a hug, I hugged back and smiled. It makes me really happy knowing that Tails supports me. I didn't have to hide the fact that i have interest in guys anymore.
"Thanks Tails, it means a lot to me" I Said
"Anytime Sonic!" exclaimed Tails.
We stood up and continued making our way to the festival, 12 minutes passed and we finally arrived at the festival. It was being held in our local park. As we walked into the park we saw balloons, food and much more.
"This looks like a blast!" I Exclaimed
"Sure does" Said Tails, "Look at those rides! We should go!"
"Sure thing bud, Let's Go!" I Said as we started running towards the rides. I pulled out a few coins from my pocket and handed them to the ride assistant, he gave us a ticket and we made our way towards the rollar coaster seats.
A few hours passed, it was now 7pm and we spent most of our time enjoying rides and playing games.
"That was so fun!" Tails chuckled
"It really was! We should do that again some time" I Replied.
"I'm not surprised you two are here, i could hear you running around the place like idiots" Said a familiar voice behind me, i turned to look and it was Shadow.
"Oh hey Shads, come to join the party?" I Said
"Hah, As if! Why would i spend my night running around with fools like you?" Huffed Shadow, "I have better things to do anyway"
"Oh really? Like what? kicking eggman's stupid bots all day?" I Said
Shadow crossed his arms and laughed, "Hah, its not like you spend most of your time destroying scraps of metal too"
"Didn't know you had a sense of humour edgelord" I said in a Sarcastic tone, "You know we should hangout more often"
"Why don't we make that happen now?" Said Shadow
"what do you mea-"
Shadow pulled me by my arm and picked me up, he started sprinting towards the forest.
"Hey put me down!" I Demanded
"Calm down faker" Said Shadow as he continued sprinting.
After a while we finally reached a field, the grass wasn't as long and there were fire flies everywhere. I glanced up at the sky and it was clear as day. The stars shone in the nightsky, it was clear enough to see the space colany too.
Shadow slowed down and put me down, he sat on the grass and tapped on the ground beside him telling me to sit.
I sat beside him and continued staring at the sky.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Said Shadow
"It really is" I Said, "The stars are beautiful, i've never seen anything like this before"
I turned to Shadow and he had a faint smile on his face. his quills shone in the moonlight and so did his golden rings. I Lightly blushed as i stared at him, he was so perfect..I never realised how attractive he was up close. He turned to face me and i quickly turned away.
"Why so shy faker?" Chuckled Shadow
"I-Im not Shy.." I Said in Embarrassment.
《 Shadows POV 》
Sonic turned away as i faced him, i looked at him and he was lightly blushing. I stared at him, his blue quills looked beautiful under the night sky, he seemed to brush them quite a lot. I lightly blushed and glanced down at his hand. For some reason i had the urge to hold it, i tried to stop myself but i slowly placed my hand ontop of his.
He turned and looked at his hand, he then glanced at me and we both stared at eachother blushing.
His green emerald eyes looked perfect, i loved everything about him. I've never gotten this close to someone before, especially Sonic. It was only tonight when i Realised i had feelings for Him.
I got closer to him and held his hand, he didn't seem to mind at all.
《 Sonic's POV 》
Shadow held my hand tightly as i blushed heavily. I didn't expect him to do something like that, i thought he hated my guts. I got closer to him and leaned my head on his shoulder, we sat back and continued staring at the stars.
