Chapter 7

Joes pov:

We headed to a cafe near the beach. It was only a 5 minute walk to the cafe but it felt it was never ending. I could constantly feel caspars eyes on me and lola the whole way there. I understand why Caspar is annoyed with me but i am his best friend, surley thats means he can trust me not to hurt lola. I just had to ignore him because if i didn't then i would flip out and that would just upset lola even more.

When we arrived at the cafe we headed over to a table with a window view of the beach. LA was the most beautiful place that i had ever been to, the wheather was amzing, the atmosphere was so happy and upbeat and it was perfect. I came to vidcon last year but it felt diifferent this time and i was positive that it was because of lola, she brings out the best in me and i could never thank her enough for that. I think that i love her.

i was sat inbetween lola and zoe, Zoe was next to Alfie and jim, tanya and caspar were sat on the other side of the table. caspar was sat directly in front of me, he was staring at mine and lolas hands that were intertwined, when lola noticed she gave him and evil stare and his eyes quickly diverted to the table.

We were all sat in complete silence which was really very akward, and with almost perfect timing the waiter came over and asked for our order. All three of the girls aksed for a chicken salad, me and alfie both ordered a ham, cheese and tomato panini and unsurprisingly caspar ordered a 4 slice margarita pizza. We all ate in silence when all of a sudden zoe chirped up...

"Who wants to play truth or dare?", we all agreed and alfie went first,

"so alfie, truth or dare?" he picked truth, not suprising for him to pick the safe option, he was asked when his and zoes 1 year annaversiry was.

"umm, 17th april?, no wait, the 17th of march, wait no! i'm not sure but its definatley on the 17th of something!" he protested

"oh my god alfie, you are completeley wrong, its the 28th of october!" ( that is not the correct date, its just for the story) zoe exclaimed slapping his arm playfully! Next it was my turn, i chose truth because quite honestly i didn't want to do any emmbarassing dares infront of lola,

"When did you start liking lola?"

i didnt even have to think as the words just flowed out of my mouth and i was hoping my answer would make caspar a bit more happy of the idea of Jola.

"I liked her from the first time i layed on her at zoes house, i knew immediatley that i wanted to be with her and that i would do anything to make her happy and to protect her, because she is my everything and it would kill me if i lost her! and i think i love her". I anwered soflty and when i finished ther was an apllause of 'awws' not only from our table but from other diners as well. I placed a kiss on lolas hand and hugged her when i saw her eyes welling up. " i think i love you to!" she whispered as she hugged me back. I also noticed the tear that was rolling down zoes face.

"Aww, my little bro is growing up!" zoe said as she watched us intentley.

"Thats the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me!" lola said placing a small kiss on my lips as she squeezed my hand.

I looked to caspar, he acctually smiled at me for the first time since the 'incedent'. Soon after we all paid and headed back to the hotel, when i realized that we all have to go to a signing tommorow!
