Chapter one Losers meet Dawn Rivers

Dawn's POV

I was walking into the girl's bathroom when I heard the one person I was hoping to avoid Greta the bitch I look around the corner and saw she was picking on the only other person she heated the most Beverly Marsh.

I had nothing against Beverly but Greta I hate when she hurts others to make herself happy "Hey how about you leave her alone" I said to Greta and her gang "well well if it isn't loner come to see the slut get what coming to her" she said with a smile on her face.

I look over and saw that one of her friends had the trash bag full of water and that gave me an idea "okay I will just stand right here and watch"I said back Greta backed up and watched as her friend dumped the trash bag on Beverly but with a little movement of my hand the trash didn't hit her it hit Greta instead.

"Ahhhh what the hell!" she said to her gang "I don't know what happened?" the girl said to her "wow now who's the messy one," I said with a laugh "let's get out of here girls" and with that, they left the bathroom.

Beverly came out of the stall and looked at me "why would you do that?" she said to me "well I hate her just as much as you but that doesn't giver her the right to dump trash on you" I said back "well thanks I'm Beverly Marsh" she held her hand out "I'm Dawn Rivers nice to meet you".

"You too," Beverly said "hey do you want to hang out later," I say to her "sure okay I will see you later Beverly, "I said leaving the bathroom after that I walk out of the school and see the boys and my crush Eddie they were dumping their old books in the trashcan.

They were walking away when the other asshole in town Henry Bowers thew Richie back and made him hit Stan then Belch burped in Eddie's face "okay that's going too far" I say I walk over "hey assholes why don't you pick on someone your on sizes" I yell at them.

All four of them turn to look at me "what did you just say to me bitch?" Henry said I said "pick one someone your own size asshole" right after I said that he go to hit me but I Dodge it and hit him in the stomach after I did that I start to run "bye boys see you later!" I yell to them.

Eddie's POV

We watched Dawn Rivers a girl who was always on Henry's bad side but always help when he was picking on others "holy shit did you see that" said Richie "no we miss it yes we saw it dummy" said Stan.

While the others were talking I looked off at the way she ran she was so beautiful I love the way she stood up to Henry and his gang I will never tell anybody this not even the guys but I like Dawn a lot like loving her but I don't think she would feel the same I mean who would like a boy who is scared of everything.

"Ar are we meeting up later," Bill said to the guys "yeah," said Richie and Stan at the same time "Eddie Eds," they both said "yeah," I said looking at them "are you going to meet with us later," said Stan looking at me "yeah you guys coming to my house to get stuff to remember

"yeah and maybe we can see your moms," he said but I cut him off "you finish that sentence I will hurt you, Tozier," I said.

We all went home after that I hope that I will see Dawn during the summer.

Dawn's POV

I outran the assholes or they just gave up on chasing me I told Ms. and Mr. Tozier that I was going to the liberty today but I want to chance first I walked the rest of the way home you see I am an orphan so yeah I don't know who my mom or dad is.

So right now I am trying to get adopted by the Toziers, yeah you heard me right I soon will be Richie the trashmouth Toziers sister I get along with Richie and his friends but the one thing Richie doesn't know is that I like Eddie but right after I got chanced I walked to the liberty and meet up with Ben.

"Hey, Benny what's up?" I said and he looks up to see me "hey Dawn what are you doing here?" he said "well I was going to get a book to read later but I saw you so what are you up to," I said looking at all the books on the table.

Nothing much just the history of Derry you know yeah since I met Ben he has been into the history of this town I sit right next to him and see he is writing I love note for Beverly Marsh but I didn't say anything.

Right after that, the old librarian came by with the big book of Derry history then left both I and Ben looked through it but once we got to one page and we both thought we saw something in the tree.

I turn the page but the tree just goes closer and closer until we see a boys head we close the book and look at each other "what the hell was that" I said to Ben "I have no- but stopped when we saw a red Balloon floating down the stairs we go to follow it.

We got to the bottom of the stairs the balloon was gone"where did it go" I said "I don't know" he said back right after that we saw a man without a head he stopped for a minute we looked at each other then back at him.

He started to come at us and we both started to run "RUN BEN" I said screaming pushing him forward we ran as fast as we could Ben Dawn we look behind us and saw a clown we go to turn our heads around but we ran into the librarian "what are you two doing down there?" she said but we both ran up the stairs and out the door.

Ben's POV

I and Dawn walked out of the liberty "hey Ben do you want me to walk you home" she said I look at her and said "sure yeah I don't want to be alone right now not after that what was that thing" I said to her "I don't know and I don't want to find out" she said back after that we start to walk when we hear "where are you going tits Loner" we look behind us and saw Henry Bowers.

We ran but are caught by Patrick and Victor they drag us over to the old bridge where they pin me and Dawn to the edge "okay you two now it's time for the payback" he told the both of us I and Dawn look at Henry "so what are you going to do asshole be more of a dumbass" Dawn said to him after she said that Henry punched her in the face causing a black eye "shut up or you'll get it worse" he said back.

Henry takes out his knife and points it at me then Dawn "okay this is what going to happen I am going to carve my name into both of your stomachs and that way you know not to stand up to me" he said he started with Dawn lifting her shirt and carving an H into her then he turned to me and did the same thing "Ben!" screamed Dawn I look at her and she about to kick off the edge "follow my lead" she said to me.

We both kick the person in the fort of us and fall into the forest we hear Henry yelling at us but we keep running until we reach a small river.

Dawn's POV

"Ben do you trust me, "I said to him he looks at me with a confused face "Dawn what are you talking about," he said back "do you," I say "yes," Ben said "okay I need you to get in the water and hold on to my hand," I said getting on mine okay he does the same and grabbed Ben's hand after I did that we felt the water travel up our bodies healing us after it was done Ben looked at me and then lifted his shirt to see the carved H was gone then looked back at me and I lifted my shirt and showed him mine was gone too.

Ben's POV

We started to run again "how did you do that?" I asked "I don't know I have been able to heal with water ever since I was young but don't tell I don't want a lot of people knowing please Ben," she said to me "okay thank you, Dawn," I said back "no problem Ben," she said with a smile we ran until we saw some boys by the sewer.

Eddie's POV

I and Stan were standing outside of the pipe to the sewer when we heard something fall into the water we turn around and it was Dawn and a boy " Dawn what the hell happened to you" said Richie "Henry Bowers and his gang" she said "l lets g get th them out of here" said Bill "good idea Bill" I said I help up Dawn while Bill helped the other boy.

We road to town and we dropped your bikes and run inside "Richie with them then Bill followed after a little help from Beverly Marsh we ran outside to clean up the boy and Dawn but when I went to clean the cut under the boy's shirt there was nothing there "okay I guess your fine okay Dawn your turn" I said "no I'm okay don't worry about me" She said okay "Dawn Ben that looks like it hurts" said Beverly "no was fine thanks, Beverly.

Dawn's POV

After all that I walked Ben home I got home before Mr. or Ms. Tozier I went up to my room and went to sleep.
