Still Ray’s POV:
“Lana wants to apologize later. She didn’t completely understand what Mary went through as a kid. Nor what she experienced at the hands of Arnold. Which Matrix was able to fill in. I’m actually quite surprised that she’s walking around,” Archer said. “Well, she apparently was here for a month before coming into my care. She took care of herself. Stitched up the larger gashes, pulled out bullets,” Krieger said.

“She’s one tough bitch,” Archer said and I turned to curl up in his arms. “Look Pam! It’s a Krieger sandwich!” Cheryl exclaimed from the door. Mary stirred, then jolted awake. “Shhh, go back to sleep,” Kreiger soothed and she dozed back off. “You two banging too?” Pam asked. “Yes,” Archer replied. “So are we,” Cheryl said. “Ok, as fun as this is, it’s really weird talking about our sex lives with my sister literally right there,” I said.

“We just wanted y’all to know we saved you some food. It’s in the fridge. We are heading out to ISIS with Mallory. Lana and Cyril are staying back for a bit,” Pam said. “Tell Mary we said bye. Oh and Matrix is sleeping down the hall,” Cheryl added. “Thanks,” I said. “Feel free to come over anytime,” Krieger said and they left.

An hour later…
I hadn’t meant to fall asleep but when I woke it was to the twins jumping on the bed. “Wakey, wakey!” they cheered. Mary sat up looking bleary-eyed. “Shoot, I didn’t mean to fall asleep,” she said. “Me neither,” I said. “You all fell asleep,” Melody said. “Oh before I forget, Pam and Cheryl went back to ISIS with Mallory,” I said.

“And Matrix?” Mary asked. “Still sleeping down the hall,” Mikey replied. “Hey guys, sleep well?” Cyril asked, smiling from the doorway. “Oh right! Can we please swim?” Melody asked. “Sure, we can all go swimming,” Mary said, getting up. “Mary, mind if we talk?” Lana asked, looking nervous. “Sure,” she said and the rest of us cleared the room, Krieger taking his swim trunks.

Lana’s POV:
Mary stood hunched over, eyes down cast. “Mary, I’m sorry for saying you’re a bad mom. It wasn’t my place. I didn’t know everything. But hanging out with the twins, I understand now. They are amazing kids,” I said. She hugged me, surprising me. I hugged her back. “So how’s dating Krieger?” I asked when she stepped back.

“Surreal. It’s weird to be with man who respects me. Who lets me be me. Who doesn’t hurt me or try to control me. He loves me and he loves the kids. I love him for it,” she said. “He loves you unconditionally,” I replied, finally understanding. “Yeah,” she said. “Plus you guys have similar kinks,” I said and she giggled, blushing. “Are you guuys doneee talking,” Mikey whined and Mary gave him the mom look. He was already in his bathing suit.

“Mikey what have I said about whining?” she asked. “It’s unbecoming of a young gentleman and gentle lady,” he replied. “Good,” she said. “Your mom and I just finished,” I said. “Yay! Cause Uncle Ray and Krieger started an epic super soaker battle with Uncle Archer. Momma can we call Krieger Daddy?” he asked. “Baby, of course you can,” Mary said, hugging Mikey.

“Ok, I’ll let Mel know,” he said, speed walking down the stairs. “I think Ray has finally found his partner,” Mary said, smiling. “If he can keep up with Archer,” I said and she laughed. “Oh, he can. Us Gilette’s are insatiable,” she said and I laughed. “I’ll leave you to get dressed. Oh, and if you need a baby sitter, I’m down to take them,” I said. “Thanks Lana. I might take you up on that offer soon,” she replied.

“I can take them this week if you want starting tomorrow. Give you and Krieger some sexy times,” I said. “I’ll take it. Thank you,” she said. She closed the door behind me and I went to the room I shared with Cyril and changed into my bathing suit Cyril had laid out on the bed for me. I smiled to myself and put it on. When I stepped out into the back, Mary was already in the pool.

She was on Kreiger’s shoulders, squirting at Archer and Cyril. The twins were in battle with Ray. Raylene was in a car seat in the shade. “Lana, join us!” Melody yelled and I jumped in. “Whose on whose team?” I asked. “Kreiger-Gillette vs Twins, Cyril and I,” Archer replied, getting sprayed in the face. “By the way, Melody and Mikey. You two get to stay with Aunt Lana for a week starting tomorrow,” Mary said, never ceasing fire.

Kreiger’s POV:
The twins cheered at the mention of getting to stay with Lana for a week. “What about Raylene?” Mikey asked. “I don’t see why not,” Mary replied. “Is it so you and daddy can spend more time together?” Melody asked and my grip slipped. Mary landed face first in the water. “Shoot sorry,” I said and she hugged me. “I hope it’s ok they call you daddy,” she said. “I love it,” I said, kissing her.

Archer took the opportunity to super soak us. “Mom!” Melody exclaimed. Mikey covered his eyes, laughing. I knew I wanted to marry her. “I love you,” she whispered, blasting Archer in the face without breaking eye contact with me. “How?!” Archer exclaimed. “I’m the better agent,” she boasted only to be sprayed in the face by Lana.
