EMILY'S POV
"Car sex!" I exclaim, upset that Alison won't touch me.
She grins and tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. "Let's head back. I'll drive."
She opens the door to let me climb off her lap and out into the parking lot. When I glance down she's quickly fixing up her dress. She follows me out and then holds the door open for me to climb back in. Strolling quickly around to the driver's side, she climbs in beside me, retrieves the iPhone, and makes a call.
"Where's Luke?" she snaps. "And the Dodge? How come Luke's not with you?"
She listens intently to Sawyer, I assume.
"Him?" she gasps. "Stick with him" Alison hangs up and gazes at me.
Him! The driver of the car? Who could that be? Jack?
"The driver of the Dodge is male?"
"It appears so," she says quietly. Her mouth presses into a thin angry line. "Let's get you home," she mutters. She starts up the RS 5 with a roar and reverses smoothly out of the space.
"Where's the unsub? What does that mean by the way? sounds very, er... dominant."
Alison's smile slips as she eases the car out of the lot and back onto Stewart Street.
"It stands for Unknown Subject. Sawyer is ex-FBI."
"Ex-FBI?"
"Don't ask." Alison shakes her head. It's obvious she's deep in contemplation.
"Well, where is this female unsub?"
"On the L-5, heading south." She glances at me, her eyes grim. Jeez - from passionate to calm to anxious in the space of a few moments. I reach over and caress her thigh, running my fingers leisurely up and down her dress, hoping to improve her mood. She takes her hand off the steering wheel and stops the slow ascent of my hand.
"No," she says. "We've made it this far. You don't want me to have an accident three blocks from home." She raises my hand to her lips and plants a cool kiss on my index finger to take the sting out of her rebuke. Cool, calm, authoritative . . . My Alison. And for the first time in a while she makes me feel like a wayward child. I withdraw my hand and sit quietly for a moment.
"Female?"
"Apparently so." She sighs, turns into the garage at the house, and drives on, smoothly parking the RS5 in its designated space.
"I really like this car," I murmur.
"Me too. And I like how you handled it - and how you managed not to break it."
"You can buy me one for my birthday," I smirk at him. Alison's mouth drops open as I climb out of the car.
"A white one, I think," I add, leaning down and smirking at him.
She smiles. "Emily DiLaurentis, you never cease to amaze me."
I shut the door and walk to the end of the car to wait for her. Gracefully she climbs out, watching me with that look . . . that look that calls to something deep inside me. I know this look well. Once she's in front of me, she leans up and whispers, "You like the car, I like the car, perhaps I should take you on it." I gasp, and smirk. I lean down to kiss Ali, and I hear someone clear their throat.
We turn to face the sound, and slowly walk towards the person.
"Hello, sorry to intrude, but I'm Nick." He smiles politely, extending his hand out. Alison wraps her left arm around my waist, and shakes his hand with her right.
""Hello." I return his smile. He has kind, soft brown eyes. Alison glances up at me, her expression unreadable.
"I just moved in next door to live with my mum, and she told me to greet the neighbours..." He smiles shyly and look down at the floor. He glances up and his eyes widen. What? What's happened?
"Woah. Hey, You're Alison DiLaurentis. Rosewood's finest." Nick says. Ali looks at him, and gives a tight smile. "Of course." He chuckles to himself. "You're Ms DiLaurentis, I presume." He says pointing to me. I give him a nod and a warm smile.
"Nick! Come back in! I need your help!" A voice yells. I look at his face, and his brows are furrowed.
"Oh I'm sorry about that. I'll try to keep my mum quite next time. I have to go now, maybe we'll bump into eachother some day" He gives a small smile, before awkwardly walking off.
"He seemed nice," I murmur. "I've never met any of the neighbors before."
Alison scowls. "I prefer it that way."
"That's because you're a hermit. I thought he was pleasant enough."
"A hermit?"
"Hermit. Stuck in your ivory tower. At least when you're not working" I state matter-of-factly. Alison's lips twitch with amusement.
"Our ivory tower. And I think you have another name to add to the list of your admirers, Emily."
I roll my eyes. "Alison, you think everyone is an admirer."
"Did you just roll your eyes at me?" Her brows furrow.
My pulse quickens. "I sure did," I whisper, my breath catching in my throat.
She cocks her head to one side, wearing her smoldering, arrogant, amused expression. "What shall we do about that?"
"Something rough."
She blinks to hide his surprise. "Rough?"
"Please."
"You want more?"
I nod slowly. Alison smirks. She opens the garage door, and motions me to go inside.
"How rough?" she breathes, her eyes darkening.
I gaze at her, saying nothing. She closes her eyes for a moment, and then grabs my hand and hauls me into the lounge room.
When we burst through, Sawyer is standing by the kitchen table, looking expectantly at the two of us.
"Sawyer, I'd like to be debriefed in an hour," Alison says.
"Yes, ma'am." Turning, Sawyer heads back into Luke's office. We have an hour!
Alison glances down at me. "Rough?"
I nod.
"Well, Ms DiLaurentis, you're in luck. I'm taking requests today."
