Chapter Eleven The Upside Down

Mike's POV

I and the guys were waiting in the gym for Nancy and Jonathan to come back but they have been gone for a while I turn to the guys "I'll be right back" I said I walked out of the school and saw Jonathan's car was gone and so was Nancy "JONATHAN! NANCY!" I yelled for the two.

I run into the gym "they have gone Nancy and Jonathan their gone" I said, "where would they go?" Lucas "I bet they are somewhere sucking face there fine plus your sister is a badass now," Dustin said.

"Know where," El said I look at her "you know where are they," I asked she looked back at me "Demogorgon," she said I keep looking at her "oh no," I said

Nancy's POV

I and Jonathan were driving to his house to get ready for the monster once we got there we started to get ready I started to load the gun while Jonathan put the nails in the bat then we both set up the bear trap we look at each other and we are almost ready but now we need to draw it here.

Jonathan went to get two knives "remember," Jonathan said "straight into Will's room," I said after "then we don't step on the bear trap," Jonathan said again "we then wait for the yoyo to move," I say Jonathan says on three.

I was getting nervous I think Jonathan saw this and told me I didn't have to do this but I was going to do this for Will and Dawn "THREE!" I yell and we cut our hands.

Dustin's POV

Lucas and Mike were fighting over if we should go after Nancy and Jonathan but we cant we are still fugitives then he said something about El "Mike look at her she is tired" after I said that I wanted to see if the lunch lady is hogging the pudding "and El needs a recharge" I yell back at back.

Jonathan's POV

I and Nancy were sitting on the couch I had helped her band her hand and now she is doing mine we both heard something "what was that?" she asked "it was just the wind don't worry mom said the light speak when it comes" I told her "speak?" she asked.

"Blink they blink when it's coming," I said back I look at Nancy "is that too tight," she asked I just shake my head "Nancy," I said she looks at me "yeah," she said I was about to answer but someone was knocking at the door.

It was Steve what was he doing here me and Nancy looked at each other after that she ran to the door trying to get him to leave but he pushes his way into the house and looks around and sees everything "Steve you need to leave now I am not asking I am telling" I said grabbing his arm.

Then I see Nancy pointing the gun at Steve while she was telling him to leave the lights to start to blink rapidly the monster is here I tried to get Nancy's attention but she was still trying to get Steve to get out "NANCY!" I yelled finally getting her to look at me "the lights" I said and she looked and saw them too.

I and she were back to back looking around for the monster that was when we see the ceiling opening up and the monster coming out Nancy starts to shoot at it but it was not working so I pulled her in fort of me and I grabbed Steve and ran to the room "watch the trap" I said to him and when we all got to the room me and Nancy turn to Steve telling him to shut up I light ht lighter while she points the gun we could hear the monster but then it stops.

I walked out of the room to see the monster gone.

Nancy's POV

All of us walked out of the room and down the hallway only to see the monster is gone "where did it go?" I asked Jonathan just looked at me "I don't know" he said back then I hear Steve go to the phone but I beat him to it and throw it across the room "it's going to come back so Steve you need to leave now" I said and he ran out the door and to his car.
