Chapter 6

Should I go for the red dress? Or the white dress?

I'm currently dealing with a dilemma today and that is picking a dress suitable in meeting the royals. Luckily I was able to pack my favorite dresses with me. And Yes, you heard it right .. my sister.. the crowned princess, stepping out of our luxurious palace. Even I was shocked to hear the news. She phoned me last night and couldn't help but feel so much excitement.

"I'm at your city today.. surprise, surprise" Rosé said at the other line.

"What?! Like how?"

"Well dear sister our cousin helped me, apparently she has some business to take care of and I asked mother and father if i could come along. Ofcourse the media doesn't know and I pretended that I actually am interested in Seulgi's oil and gas import export." That made me laugh, how i miss this kind of moments with her.

"Wow so fun." I said teasingly and i can already picture her rolling her eyes.

"Shut up." She said making me giggle. "So are you available tomorrow? Please say yes."

"Lucky for you its my day off." I answered making her squeal in excitement.

"Oh thank God! Meet us at the Hiltons vip  section we already made reservations. I can't wait to hear the great Jennie's adventures."

"It is indeed an adventure.." i said almost in whisper as i look outside my window and stare at the beautiful night sky.

"Oohh i hear something interesting.. I'll see you tomorrow sister."

"See you Rosé.."

"And Jennie... I miss you.." she said before ending the call.

"I miss you too sis..."

Now I'm looking at the gorgeous dresses before me and finally chose the red spaghetti strap lace dress, that has a corset body emphasizing my waist and chest, with a flowing skirt that ends just above the knee. I partnered it with a thin strap red high heeled sandals. I curled my long brunette hair in waves and applied some light make up.

Facing the full body mirror, i smiled looking at the familiar face staring back at me. This is what i miss being royal. Dressing for parties, galas and conferences.

I feel like "The Russian Princess" again only my crown is missing and my expensive jewelries.

Grabbing my small pouch and phone I exited the room. The mansion was still silent since i decided to leave a little early in order to avoid the mistress and staffs. Thankfully its sunday, they will usually start their work at 10am and the mistress as well as the kids usually wake up late in the weekends.

I was already at the last flight of stairs leading to the  front double doors when i was met with that gorgeous raven haired woman who I remembered meeting at the mistress birthday party.

Oh no..

She scanned my appearance from head to toe with a smirk plastered on her beautiful face. "Miss Park.."

Composing myself, I confidently meet her near the front door with a sweet smile on my face. I really need to thank my etiquette instructor for training us at early age. "Good morning Miss Kim, its good to see you again."

"A very good morning indeed.. you look lovely as always Miss Park." She complimented while moving closer to me.

"I could say the same thing except you're all sweaty." I jokingly said. She's wearing her track suit exposing her perfect set of abs which means she must have been doing her cardio.

"Gotta maintain these babies." She said while tapping her exposed abs making me giggle.

"Jisoo Kim give me that damn-"

I felt my heart skip a beat just hearing her voice.

This is not good at all. Nope. Nu-uh. This can't be happening.

The raven girl just smirked as she noticed my panic state before she turned to the person behind me. "Sorry Lis, i got distracted.." while giving me that meaningful stare.

"Miss Park."

Fuck my life.

I slowly face the mistress while praying to God that i could survive this mess.

Brown doll like eyes that always enchant me scanned my body from head to toe making me a little bit conscious.

She looked at me like I'm some kind of extraordinary art piece that grace her eyes and she didn't even try to hide it. If it wasn't from her friend coughing exaggeratedly she wouldn't have  compose herself hiding back from her professional mask exterior. Making me miss those expressive eyes that i grew fond with.

"Good morning mistress." I greeted while slightly bowing my head.

"Good morning Jane, i see you're going out somewhere." As she moved closer to us.

"Obviously." Jisoo whispered teasingly.

Lisa turned to her friend almost killing her in the way she angrily stared at her making the latter raise her hands in surrender.

"Yes mistress I'm gonna meet my friends for lunch today." I answered saving miss Kim's butt.

"Oh good, You look.. great by the way." She complimented making me smile.

"Thank you mistress..." Then complete silence reigned as I just stare at her gorgeous brown eyes.

Stop it.. you're being weird..

I composed myself  "I should get going then."

Walking towards the double doors , I was about to open it when she suddenly called my name. I turned slightly towards her meeting those brown eyes again.

"Enjoy your day.."

"You are working as a nanny?!" My sister exclaimed as I run down the events of my mess up life.

"Don't forget her make out session with the business tycoon who is by the way the twins mother." Seulgi added making my eyes roll.

"You are clearly out of your mind." Rosé added. "This would not end well Ruby Jane, and you know it."

"I know.. she was just so damn hot, gorgeous, loving, kind and caring-"

"Oh my God! Don't tell me you're in love with your employer?!" My sister interjected cutting me off pulling my head out of that stupid swirly clouds.

"I'm not in love with her!" I said while cutting my steak aggressively.

"Well judging from that googly eyes you're showing a moment ago, you are clearly in love with her." Seulgi stated with that annoying smile on her face.

"I don't love her! I can't love her! I'm just super attracted to her." I further explained. It can't happen. And it shouldn't happen.

Her family don't deserve to be hurt repeatedly. I don't want to be one of those women i despise. First the children's mother and now her fiancé.

She couldn't take it.. the kids can't take it..

"Look Ruby Jane as much as I want to support you, its just simply impossible. You have 4 months left to enjoy your freedom but after that you'll be back to being a royalty, even if she's a billionaire she couldn't take our strict customs, think of the kids." Rosé said explaining per detail why I shouldn't invest feelings for the mistress and she's right.

Even if my heart says otherwise..

She's right.
