You wander around to your favorite place to watch the sunset. You go there every night before bed after a long night of studying for classes. You feel like you especially need it tonight because you have a test tomorrow. You feel a sigh of relief when you relieve you're almost there, but you're confused to see seven people there because usually no ones there at this time. You see that only one of them is a human and the others are monsters. You and your roommate learned about this about three weeks ago for a school project, but didn't think they'd come back up. You overhear the conversation from behind a tree.

Toriel: Oh my...

Asgore: isn't it beautiful everyone?

Alphys: Wow... It's even better than on tv. WAY BETTER! Better then I ever imagined.

Undyne: Frisk, you LIVE with this?! The sunlight is so nice... And the air is so fresh! I really feel alive!

Papyrus: Hey Sans. What's that giant ball?

Sans: we call that "the sun" my friend.

Papyrus: That's the sun?! Wowie... I can't believe I'm finally meeting the sun!

Asgore: I could stand here and watch this for hours.

Toriel: Yes. It is beautiful. Is it not? But we should really this about what comes next.

Asgore: Oh right. Everyone. This is the begging of a bright new future. It's an era of peace between humans and monsters. Frisk. I have something to ask of you. Will you act as our ambassador to the humans.

Frisk: Yes. Of course I will.

Papyrus: Frisk will be the best ambassador! And I, the great papyrus, will be the best mascot!

All of a sudden you sneeze and Frisk turns their head.

Frisk: What the-

Everyone looks to see a person who doesn't look like they can do much harm. But everyone looks confused.

You: I- I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to- I'm so sorry.

Undyne: Who are you punk?!

Asgore: Now now Undyne. We should act softer. We don't know this upperground well yet.

Frisk: I do. Anyway. Who are you.

You: I- I'm y/n. I come here every night to watch the sunset if I can. I didn't know anyone would be here.

Toriel: That's quite alright. Would you like to join us?

Undyne: We don't even know them.

Alphys: T- True. But we- we should act how Frisk treated us. Plus, t- they look nice.

You walk forward next to Frisk.

You: That's adorable. You all really seem to care about each other. That gives me hope this'll work.

Sans: We can hope kiddo. We can hope.

Alphys: S- So y/n. Um... You're in school?!

You: Ya. I'm in college. What about you guys? What are you all going to do now that you're above ground?

Asgore: I don't know. I was the king. So I don't know what I'll do.

Toriel: I want to be a teacher.
