Hawkins Indiana, 1985.
I quickly hopped out of bed, my alarm had gone off. I groaned, and got out of bed and got my uniform on. It was the second day of summer, and I had to work.

"Y/N! Get up, I'm driving you to work." my dad, Jim Hopper legally adopted me about a year and a half ago. I go my Y/N Hopper and El goes by Jane Hopper. I got on my uniform for Scoops ahoy, and got into my dads car.

As we drove it was awkward, until we finally got there. I jumped out of the car and ran inside; "BYE DAD!" Before he could say anything i was already inside the mall, as i sprinted to scoops ahoy, my new job.

I was out of breath. "Jesus what happened to you?" A man with brown, slicked hair said. "Running." I said, as i managed to catch my breath. "Oh.. Anyways, are you free today at 4?-"

"Nope, sorry. I work here." I smiled at him.

"Right. Sorry didn't notice the hideous uniform." He laughed,

"Right? Like jesus do these dorks have any fashion sense?" I laughed, I could tell me and this guy are gonna get along. Guess he read my mind; "We are gonna get along, Steve." He reached his hand out for me to shake it, i took it. "Y/N."

A young girl burst out of the doors, she had blonde hair, freckles, and beautiful blue eyes.
"A new co worker?!..." She spoke quickly and starred at me, I waved awkwardly; "Steve, meet me in the back, now." She said to steve, but she kept her eyes locked with mine.

Robins pov: in the back.
"STEVE, IM HAVING LESBIAN PANIC RIGHT NOW. WHAT DO I DO SHE IS SO HOT." I whisper yelled, what i said was true. My cheeks were burning. "How am I supposed to know? Just-" He couldn't finish because the girl walked through the doors; "Sorry, did i interrupted something?" She said,

"Nope." Steve said; "Not at all." I continued for him. "Okay good, could one of you help me work the scooper? AKA, teach me how to serve ice cream?" She smiled awkwardly, it was beautiful though. Before i could finish looking at her, mr annoying had to speak up. "Yeah! Robin can."

He gave me a look and winked, i glarred at him. "Thanks, Robin. Im Y/N."
