I saw she was nervous but I held her hand as we got to the front and got out. Thank God they were not waiting outside.
Me: Follow me guys, just leave your bags in there.
Ayo: I have to take a picture of the palace my mom will not believe that am mixing with the Royals.
Me: come let me snap you guys.
I took a few picture and we walked in the house going to the lounge where they were laughing and talking. The minute I walked in everyone came busting towards me hugging me as if its been months since iv seen them when its been a week.
Mom: You gained weight
Zwakhe:happiness does that buka sine mkhaba nathi.
Everyone laughed and I turned to my guest.
Me: Guys this is Ayo, Sbahle and Zikhona
Zwakhe: iv meet Zikhona before, lovely to see you again.
He hugged her as she blushed
Mom: Come on in guys, i cooked.
They walked in and my great grandma smiled at her hugging her and smiling some more. We sat down and Ayo and my aunts Lunwabo and Luthando were hitting it off laughing and my aunt Alutha and Sbahle were in a deep conversation. The food was amazing as always and Zikhona was more shy with everyone.
Zwakhe: So....
I closed my eyes cause I knew he was about to go off the books.
Zwakhe: How are things?
Me: Good.
Zwakhe: Am not asking you son.
He looked at Zikhona who looked up.
Zikhona: Good
Zwakhe: Seriously? Is that all am getting from you guys?
Dad: What do you want to hear?
Zwakhe: I don't know.... Something like " oh he blows my mind away"
Everyone was finished and I saw Zikhona laugh. I looked at my uncle mouthed a thank you and he winked.
Grandma: I see she wearing the ring.
The room went silent as all eyes were on herZikhona
I looked up to see his family staring at me
His mom: Can I see dear?

I looked at the woman in my family get emotional.
Aunty Alutha: Congratulations
Me: Thank you
Zwakhe: Manje nikhalelani?
She lightly punched him and I smiled. I want to have what mom and dad have. What grandma Kalechi and Pa has and what my uncle has. I want to be loved with no limits and to give as much love as I receive.
Mom: This calls for a celebration let me call for some sparkles
She got up and called and Zikhona was blushing.
Me:sorry.
Zikhona: Its okay. Eat up....Somewhere in Bergville
I finally found out where she stays so i drove to the house that she owns and knocked. The door opened and a tall guy stood there. I never thought this far. What if she is dating someone or married.
Me: Hi
Him: Hi, how can i help you?
Me: Am looking for Zanele Ndlovu.
He looked at me confused and turned.
Him: Hey babe, know any Zanele Ndlovu?
Lady: No.
She appeared to the door and I looked at her. It wasn't Zanele.
Me: Am sorry it might be a wrong house. Its been years since If seen her
Her: A Zikhona Ndlovu was the previous owner of the house. She got it from her mom but am not sure what her name. Come in ill look for our papers. I nodded and I walked in and saw the small side table that I got her when I first got my pay check. I moved to it and they kept quiet as I looked for the place where we initialed our names and there it was Muzikhona ❤️ Zanele and I felt tears come rushing and I turned looking at them.
Her: It came with the house. She said we can have it
Me: Who?
I whispered and she looked at her papers.
Her: its says the house did belong to Zanele who left it for her Child Zikhona Ndlovu. That the young girl that sold it to us.
I slowly sat down.
Me: Her daughter?
She looked at her pages.
Her: Yes. She 19 years old.
I looked at them as I slowly felt light headed. She had a child?.....
