She met this guy. In a hospital. He came to her and cried upon seeing her condition. She wonders why.
Y/n's POVI woke up and there's this guy beside me. He had blue eyes and blonde curly hair. I don't understand why he would go to me, hug me, and cry in front of me. He's acting like he knows me. Believe me, I don't even know this guy. "Yes?" I asked. He stopped crying and looked at me. I didn't really understand what was going on. "Y/n, I'm so glad you're alive," a guy sobs. "Do I know you?" I asked. When I asked who he was, I saw a confused look in his face. "I'm sorry but I don't know you. Who are you? Maybe you just visited the wrong patient because I don't really know you," I added. Once again, there was still a confused look in his face. "Y/n, It's me Joey. Joey McIntyre to be sure. What are you talking about? I'm your boyfriend, remember?" he explained. "Huh? Joey? I have a boyfriend?" I wonder. "Yes, you do. Oh, come on Y/n stop acting like you don't know me. Maybe you're just drained," he insists. "No, no. You're not understanding. Even if you explain that to me, I don't really know you," I said. Then the doctor came in and checks on me. "Y/n, you're awake," Dr. Brown said. "How long was I asleep?" I asked. "You've been asleep for 9 hours," Dr. Brown replied. 12 hours?!? I haven't slept that long since then. "How are you feeling?" Dr. Brown asks. "I'm okay. It's just that my head hurts," I replied. "Don't worry. The pain will go away. Don't forget to take some meds that I'll prescribe you," Dr. Brown says. "Okay. Thank you, doctor," I said.
End of POV
After Dr. Brown and Y/n's conversation. Dr. Brown left the room and Joey catches up. "Doc! Doc!" Joey calls. "Yes?" Dr. Brown said. "I'm Joey. I'm Y/n's boyfriend," Joey introduces himself. "Nice to meet you, Joey. Is there anything I can help you?" Dr. Brown asks. "I visited Y/n but she was confused. I don't even know why then she told me that she doesn't know me. I even told her that I'm her boyfriend but she just don't remember anything, why is that?" Joey asks. "Oh, Y/n is suffering from amnesia," Dr. Brown replied. "Will she be suffering from this forever?" Joey worriedly asks. "It depends. It can be permanent or it can be temporary," Dr. Brown explained. "So what am I gonna do to bring back her memory?" Joey asked. "The best thing to do is surround her with familiar places, show her some pictures of you together, tell her everything, let her listen to her favorite songs or watch some of her favorite movies together in case she might recover," Dr. Brown advised. "Thank you doc," Joey smiled.
