Missing You

It's been a month since Y/n told Joey that he's annoying her. Joey was real hurt and never bothered Y/n ever again. For Y/n, she is happy because there is no more trouble and annoyance with him. She started to spend more time with her friends and never bothered to think about how's Joey doing or what. Sometimes Joey and Y/n would run into each other in the hallway but not a word ever comes out of their mouth. Joey wasn't mad at Y/n as he still loves her no matter what. All he ever did was to love and protect her. But he doesn't understand why Y/n would get annoyed as he tried his best to be the best boyfriend for her though she doesn't treat him like a boyfriend due to her amnesia. 

At school, Joey would see Y/n hanging out with a guy for days. His jealousy grew but kept his cool as he didn't want Y/n to get more annoyed at him. Whenever Y/n hangs out with his boy friend, she doesn't get the same positive and good vibes unlike Joey.

Saturday. While Y/n was watching The Breakfast Club she remembered something from it but not clearly. She would get vague visions of watching The Breakfast Club with Joey but she still wasn't sure. Then suddenly she missed Joey's presence. She missed how he was persistent and how he cares and always protects her. Now that he's not there, she suddenly misses him. "I'm sorry, Joey. I'm so stupid to feel that way. I'm so dumb to say that I'm annoyed. I'm so childish, why did I ever get annoyed? Ugh. I just realized that I'm missing you. I need you, I can't go on without you," Y/n said to herself. Little did Y/n know is that Joey was just outside her house. Waiting for her to come out, if ever she would go out. He would always do that for days.

One night, Y/n was walking home alone from the mall and heading to her house when 2 middle aged men approached her. "Hey beautiful," one man said. "Lookin' real good today," another man said. Y/n got scared and was nervous, as she tried to run. The 2 men grabbed her and tried to assault her. "HELP!" Y/n screamed. "No one will help you here," the creepy old man said. Y/n kept screaming until a guy who was walking alone, witnessed what was happening and didn't hesitate to help Y/n. "Leave her alone!" the guy yelled. "Oh, what are you gonna do, little boy? Call the police?" the other creepy old man insulted the guy. Good thing the guy knew martial arts and beat the heck of them. There was a bloody nose, some broken bones, and cracked teeth. The two creepy men were knocked out.

Y/n was crying real bad as she thought something bad was gonna happen to her again then she looked up at the guy who saved her. "Joey?" Y/n said, surprised. "Y/n?" Joey asked, surprised also. Not long, Y/n ran up to Joey and hugged him tightly. Joey didn't expect that and also hugged her back. "Joey, I'm so sorry for all the things that I said that offended you. I realized that I can't go on without you. I really miss you so much," Y/n whispered. This made Joey cry with joy. "Y/n, It's fine. I also miss you so much. I'm glad that I'm here to protect you," Joey cried. "Joey, you weren't wrong when you told me that you'll always protect me," Y/n remembered. "Yes, I'll always be here," Joey assured. They embraced for a few minutes and pulled back. Y/n tip toed and gave Joey a peck on the lips. His eyes widened. He cups her face and kisses her. Then Joey offered her to walk her home. This time, Y/n didn't find it annoying as she gladly accepted his offer and asked him to hold her hand. It was a super sweet moment for the both of them. Joey was happy again as he remembered the times when Y/n didn't have amnesia yet and how sweet they were to each other before.
