𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚

I woke up to the man that worked at the front desk, looking down at me. I furrowed my brows, in confusion and slowly sat up. I put my hand on my aching head and looked around. I blacked out last night, why?

"What..happened" I groaned

"Well i'm not sure, i found you like this about 7 minutes ago" He checked his watch.

"Got any..any pain killers?" I said as i stumbled, getting up.

"Yes. I can go find some" He nodded

"Where's..Five?" I asked

He looked at me in confusion. I tilted my head at him, my vision still slightly blurry.

"The uh the boy in the suit, hair slicked to the side and very.." I motioned with my hands, trying to find a word that would describe Five.

"odd?" The man said for me.

"Yeah yeah i guess" I nodded.

"I can call for him on the income?" He asked.

"Yeah sure" I said. The man nodded and left.

I furrowed my brows and looked around for my room. It wasn't so far away. I quickly reached in my bra and took out the key. I unlocked the door and stumbled inside. I sighed before laying down for a couple of moments and deciding to change.

I changed into simple fit i stole from Sloane.

I brushed through my hair and messed with it a little. I took off my old makeup from last night, and put some fresh makeup on.

I thought for a moment before walking out the door.

I walked downstairs, grabbing a glass of water and chugging it down.

I watched as Alison walked down the stairs, smiling?

"Hey y/n.."

I glared at her.

"Listen, i just wanted to apologize for..snapping at you for no reason. You're apart of the family now and i guess it's just kinda hard to accept new people" She said, as she looked at me with a hopeful face.

The world was ending, there will be no good if i didn't forgive her.

"It's okay i guess" I said, taking the last sip of my water.

"Great! and uhh dad is having a family meeting a noon, you should come" She said, smiling. I sarcastically smiled back and nodded as she walked away. Why is she happy? That's weird.

"Five?" I asked, walking towards him, who was sitting on the edge of the world, watching as it fell apart.

"Y/n. Watch your step" He said, keeping his eyes on the view in front of him.

"would you stop drinking? Jesus" I mumbled, standing next to him.

"It's the end of the world, let me have some fun" He said, taking a sip of his wine. I scoffed.

"Don't fall. I'm gonna go grab a drink and maybe even a water for you" I said, as i walked away.

Almost everyone gathered in the lobby, i was one of the last ones. Five and dad were missing, i figured they were talking or something. I sat next to Ben and Klaus.

"I still can't believe your pregnant..crazy" Ben said. I chuckled before hearing everyone start to cheer.

"Wooohooo!"
"There he is!!"
"That speech last night"
"Brought me to tears you big softy"

I saw Five enter the room as everyone spoke at almost the same time. What are they talking about? Am i going crazy, i just laughed along to fit in.

Five walked passed me, towards the couch. Lila quickly jumped out of her seat, and put her hands out for Five to hug her. He ignored her, making me feel bad so i stood up and hugged Lila for him. Five grinned at me. I walked towards his seat and just leaned against the couch he sat on.

Dad just talked about how he had a plan to save the world. I'm sure you didn't want to hear about what the old man said.

Everyone went their separate ways, while i stuck with Five, obviously.

"Looks like staying sober for the baby paid off" I said, as i sat on the edge of our bed.

"Maybe." He simply replied.

We sighed, in awkward silence.

"I'm happy that maybe we have another chance at saving the world. I mean- i'd get to spend more time with you..and maybe even have our family" I smiled.

Five had no expression. He just stayed quiet, not saying a word.

"okay then.." I said quietly, almost whispering. It hurt a bit seeing Five ignore me like this but, i knew he was just probably thinking about saving the world. Like always.

I laid back onto the pillow and stared at the ceiling, i out one hand on my stomach and tried not to think about Five's presence.

I heard Five sigh loudly, before hearing his footsteps walk towards me. I didn't look at him, i just kept my eyes at the ceiling. I felt the bed move and adjust to Five sitting down, next to me.

I looked down at him. "i get that your happy but i don't want to ruin your spark by telling you that i doubt dad's plan will work." He didn't make eye contact.

I grabbed his hand.

"Don't doubt it" I said. He nodded and pressed his lips together, he was thinking about something.

I sat up and shifted my lefts to where they were handing from the bed, like his. I leaned my head on his shoulder and breathed in. I looked down at his hands in his lap and interlocked mine to his. Five is always thinking and thinking and thinking, i want him to feel that he doesn't have to be the solution to everything. He's an over thinker.

"It'll be okay, Five. I have you and you have me and we'll be just fine, even when the world ends. I mean i hope we find each other again, on the other side" I tried to make things better.

"We'll always find each other again, y/n." He said, looking down at me. I smiled.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

Five leaned down and prepped a kiss on my forehead, comforting me. I loved him so much, i want to spend whatever time left on this world with him.
