A/N: so this part was requested and in this part Charlie is 22 Nick is 23 and Ben is also 23 but Charlie and Ben are dating in this setting Nick and Charlie were never a thing.
~Charlie's POV~
Today I hung out with my boyfriend Ben. He took me out to my favorite cafe we had our usual order, but when we were eating Ben got a text and immediately left without saying bye. It was very odd but I don't really care i just went home.
"Charlie!" My mom screams from downstairs I didn't even bother to scream back she probably more like most likely won't hear me so I just go downstairs and see what's the issue.
"Yes mom?" I say "there is a new neighbor go make them feel welcome" my mind always made me do this it's kinda annoying cause everytime they are my age I have to go say hi and hang out with them and it's so awkward but that's how my mom is.
"Ugh! Fine" I put on my shoes look at my hair and fix it a little bit and walk out the door to the neighbor. They are across from our house so I walked over there and knocked on the door.
~Nick's POV~
I have just moved into a new neighborhood and this neighborhood is really nice and the people here are nice too.
As I was unpacking my clothing and putting them in my wardrobe I heard a knock on my door. It was weird cause I'm not expecting anything or anyone. I head downstairs to the door and open it.
"Hi!" He says "hi, and you are?" I say
"Oh sorry I'm Charlie! I love across the street, you?"
"Oh hi Charlie I'm Nick and what brings you here?"
I say cause it was just very unexpected "oh sorry um my mom, everytime there is a new neighbor she makes me go say hi and make them feel welcome sometimes it's annoying but most times it's not cause I get to make friends I guess" Charlie says.
Even though I just met Charlie he says sorry a lot "oh um you say sorry a lot" I say nervously "yea I don't know why I just do" a phone rings "oh that's my mom it's time for dinner bye Nick!"
"Bye Charlie!"
Charlie is a very nice boy and kinda cute....'Nick stop you don't even know if he's bi or gay or if he's single' I try to let go of this but I can't I'll talk with him tomorrow.

~Charlie's POV~
Well I'm just laying in my bed crying looking at the ceiling, I just caught Ben cheating on me! As I was walking back to my house I see him down the block making out with some girl but whatever I quickly get myself cleaned up and looked at myself in the mirror 'you are useless!' 'No one likes y-' my thoughts are interrupted by my mom "Charlie! Someone's here for you" she says from downstairs.
I go downstairs and see who's at the door.
It's Nick.
