In a huge room, a girl or should I say the princess of  Bundelkhand was surrounded by many other girls. She was blushing and was being so shy which was not at all in her nature. She was sitting on the stool just next to the window and was staring at some particular direction. 

As soon as she turned the girls started teasing her. She said.
N: Hume jana chahiye wo jane wale hai.
Saying this she came down running. The jingling of her anklets were echoing in the whole palace. Her long beautiful hair were flowing increasing her beauty and the traditional nose pin on her face was increasing her beauty. She came down and saw HIM, Yuvraj Manik Vishwanath.

Being a warrior princess she was a tough nut to crack but he was the one who took away her heart. Few months ago, he helped Bundelkhand in a war and became a special guest and he came often but he never saw Rajkumari Nandini Rajpoot and now her brother Rajkumar Debashish Rajpoot had finally occupied an area successfully. The royal prince of Bundelkhand Raja Debyendu Rajpoot had throw a great feast to the entire city and some of the kings of the neighbour hood had been invited. Manik was specially invited by Debashish himself. It was the time when all the Kings were settled in the Sheesh mehl of Bundelkhand and different refreshments were being served when alot of the ladies with face covered came in the front and soon they got in half as Nandini Rajpoot made a grand entry. The drummers were sitting at a side playing the drums and tabla. Nandini's eyes were fixed at him and surprisingly he was also looking at her. Soon the slow music started and she was on the floor dancing. The jingles of her ankle bells were echoing in the whole palace. He did not even blinked when she was dancing. Her aura, charm and beauty was attracting him. Once the feast got over. Nandini was outside when a Dasi came and said.
D: Rajkumari yeh Khasi Bai ne di hai aur kaha hai kay ap Yuvraj ko dede.
Nandini nodded and held it and after bowing a bit the Dasi went and Nandini smiled knowing about her freind. Going in her chamber she applied the freshly made rose mist and after looking at her condition. She went at his chamber and asked the men outside to inform him. The man came inside and after bowing said.
Me: Yuvraj Rajkumari aayi hai, Apse milna chahti hai.
Manik nodded and said.
M: Bhej do.
He sat on the bed in a  royal way and when she came inside his camber got filled with her scent was so intoxicating. She came closer to him and after bending a little she asked.
N: Pan laye hai ap kay liye.
M: Iss Meherbani ki wajah.
N: Mehmaan hai ap humare.
M: Bass?
N: Aur kiya banna chahte hai ap?
Manik chuckled and nodded no. 
M: Ap ko aj pehli baar dekha hai.
N: Iss say pehle ap ne deedar ka mauka hi nahi diya kabhi.
Nandini smiled and said.
N: Ab ap Pan kha kar so jaye. Agar kissi ne mujhe yaha dekh liya to accha nahi ho ga.
She was leaving when he asked.
M: Phir kab mile gi.
N: Jab ap chahe gai.
She left after partially covering her face and Manik was still lost in her. Putting the pan in his mouth, he went to at the terrace where the Hookah was already present. He saw Nandini running behind her friend. He smiled and started smoking. The next day, Nandini was in the field and was practicing sword fighting when a distant arrow came and it pierced in her skin. She yelled in pain and everyone got so worried about her but she being a warrior got up on her own and stumbling, she reached the chamber. She asked the dasis to hide that because it will make everyone upset and worried. She sat infront of the mirror and after the Dasi opened the knots of her blouse making her back bare. She pulled the arrow and threw it away. The wound was not really big still blood was oozing out. One of the warriors informed Manik about that and god knows what got into him. He came running to her and when the Dasi informed Nandini that he had come to meet. She could not deny as it would be his insult so covering her back with the pallu she asked the Dasi to let him in. When he came inside the Dasis disappeared and he looked at her who had not even a single emotion of pain on her face. From the mirror he saw the wound which made the pallu red with the blood. He offered his hand and Nandini without thinking anything held it. He made her sit on the bed and sat infront of her. He took his dagger out and after heating it on the candle, he placed it on her wound and she shrieked in pain. Not able to bare the pain she hugged him and found the utmost peace which was missing. He took the paste which the Dasi made to apply on her wound. After taking the paste, he applied it on her wound and she hugged him tightly. After applying it, he made her face him and that moment only he felt himself losing in her hazel coloured deep eyes. She was so beautiful no body could ever imagine about. He distanced himself from her and was about to leave when he said.
M: Aj hum rawana ho jaye gay.
Nandini felt a lump forming in her throat so she did not reply. Few hours later she was laying on the bed on her stomach because of the wound when her friend Kashibai came and said.
K: Saara mehl Yuvraj ko rawana karne kay liye jama hai.
Nandini still did not reply. She sat close to her and said.
K: Mile gi nahi unse.
Nandini nodded no and she said.
N: Agar unhe jaata dekh lia to khud ko rok nahi paon gi.
K: Mulaqaat adhoori reh jaye gi.
Nandini smiled sadly and said.
N: Adhoori mulaqaat hi to phir se milne ka waada hoti hai.
Kashibai nodded her head in disbelief and went from there. Manik was feeling something was missing but he was not able to understand. Few days passed but Nandini was missing him so much. Just to divert her attention she decided to go for a hunt and she requested her father that she don't want to take any dasi or soldier with her. He was a bit worried but he could not refuse her. Taking her horse, her dagger and arrows she went in the jungle. Two days passed she was staying over there and was liking her own company and soon she heard few voices which made her alert and taking out her dagger she started walking in that direction. Soon she realized some kind of war was going on and she saw a man who seemed to be a king. An arrow was about to hit her but she ran the direction and slightly pushed him. She started fighting back and a man from behind threw a rock in that direction which hit her head and she fainted. The king got alert and quickly he asked his son which was on the other side. Soon the war ended and Manik was so worried about her but before he could look after her, the king shrieked as someone pricked the dagger near his spine. Soon the man was killed and the king was placed in the palanquin and Manik made Nandini sit on the horse infront of her. Her head was on the shoulder and his one arm was on her waist. Quickly riding the horses they were going to the palace. The intoxicating smell of her hair was driving him insane. With in few hours they reached the palace and everybody was surprised looking at a girl that too so close to Yuvraj. Soon the place was filled with hustle and bustle and a chamber was set for Nandini and a Dasi came there. Her treatment started and on the other hand, the queen was crying sitting near the king who was being treated.. Yuvraj consoled him and said.
Y: Maa Sa ap kyun ro rahi hai, Pita Shree bilkul theek hai. 
Q: Wo larki kon thi Yuvraj.
M: Bundelkhand ki rajkumari hai wo, unho ne Pita shree ki jaan bachayi hai.
It was morning when Nandini got up and found herself on a comfy bed. She still had pain in her head when she heard a voice, she opened her eyes and a Dasi standing. She bowed a little and said.
D: Rajkumari ap kay liye kapre tyaar hai, ap naha lijiye.
N: Hum kaha hai?
D: Ap Yuvraj ke mehl mai hai, wo ap ko yaha laye the.
Nandini remembered the incident and said.
N: Yuvraj theek hai?
D: Jee theek hai.
Getting dressed up with the help of Dasis, she came outside with a Dasi and saw alot of ladies in the field. They were busy knitting and doing embroidery but her appearance distracted them and the queen got up from the royal couch and came to her. Joining her hands she said.
Q: Ap ne bohot bara ehsaan kiya hai hum par.
Nandini immediately held her hands and said.
N: Yeh mera farz tha, maine kisi par koi ehsaan nahi kiya.
All the ladies sitting there were impressed by her attitude. The queen nodded and said.
Q: Ayee ap ko sab se milvaye.
Coming towards a lady she said.
Q: Yeh hai humari barri beti Asha Bai.
Nandini joined her hands and greeted and after greeting her daughters. She came towards two ladies and said.
Q: Yeh hai Harini Bai aur Iraani Bai, Yuvraj ki patnia. 
Nandini's heart went in her stomach but controlling her emotions, she greeted them and said.
N: Hum Yuvraj se milna chahte hai.
Queen nodded and said.
Q: Ap ko Asha Bai lei jaye gi.
Nandini went with her and she took her to his chamber. After taking his permission she went inside and saw him standing at the window. She went closer and said.
N: Hume jaane ki ijizat de Yuvraj.
He turned and as usual Nandini was lost in him.
M: Ap ne hum par bohot barra ehsaan kiya hai.
N: Ehsaan nahi yeh farz tha humara.
M: Mujhe laga tha bhool chuki ho gi hume.
Nandini looked at him with misty eyes and said.
N: Tujhe yaad kar liya hai, Ayyat ki tarah. Ab tera zikr hoga ibaadat ki tarah.
Those words touched his heart and said.
M: Meri do patnia hai.
N: Maloom hai.
M: Meri 3 betiyaan bhi hai.
N: Farq nahi. Mere dil ne ap se mohabbat ki hai ap ke rutbe se nahi.
M: Rajkumari yeh kyun kiya ap ne?
N: Mohabbat ka iraada to na tha, bakhuda ho gaya ap ko dekhte dekhte.
Before Manik could say something, a voice came.
M: Yuvraj Mantri saheb aaye hai, ap se milna chahte hai.
Manik held her arms and said.
M: Ap jayee aur aaram karee, hum jald mile gay.
Nandini without showing any response went outside leaving him in deep thoughts. She was coming down when she saw little girls in the field practicing sword fighting. She guessed that they might be his daughters so she went down and the girls asked.
G: Ap kon?
N: Hum Nandini hai.
G: Rajkumari Nandini?
Nandini nodded and asked.
N: Ap ko mere baree mai kaise pata?
G: Pita shree ko baat karte suna tha.
Nandini smiled and said.
N: Ap ke naam. 
G: Geet, Preeti aur Naina.
Nandini caressed their heads and said.
N: Hum ap ko sikhaye yeh?
They nodded happily and Nandini took the sword from the soldier and started teaching them. They were being so good and when Manik was passing by the field, he saw her. A smile flashed across his face and he went away with that. After teaching them, she came back in her chamber and sat on the table to write a letter for her father. After writing that, she asked the Dasi to send it to Bundelkhand. Once that was done, she sat on the terrace looking at the beauty of the palace. It looked so beautiful. Manik had to go for some work outside the city so Nandini was really upset about that and the queen wanted Nandini to stay until the king does not regain consciousness. After a week, finally Manik was returning back and his wives were all dressed up wearing expensive jewelries were standing at the main holding Aarti ki thali to welcome him. Nandini was standing at the balcony looking at them. She was dying to find a glimpse of him. Finally his horse came inside the boundaries and like a true king, he come off his horse and were welcomed by his wives. Manik always had a neutral relations with his wives for god know what reason. All of a sudden he saw her shade in the water of the pond and looked up and saw her. His heart swelled with happiness looking at her. He came inside and after having some refreshments he went to his chamber to take some rest but his mind was full of her thoughts. At night, Manik got the news that the king regained the consciousness and he was calling him. Maik went to his chamber and saw his mother also sitting there. He was a bit weak but then he asked.
K: Wo larki kaha hai, jiss ne humari jaan bachayi.
M: Pita shree wo Bundelkhand ki rajkumari hai aur wo abhi issi mahl mai hai. 
K: Darbar tyaar kar wae hum un se milna chahte hai.
M: Jee.
Saying this he left and finally the king came in the field and Nandini came down to meet him, her head was partially covered and she looked so beautiful in that dress. Manik was sitting next to the king and he called her near, caressing her head he said.
K: Ap ne humari jaan bacha kar hume qarz dar kar dia hai. Ap khuch bhi mang sakti hai mujhse uss kay badle mai.
N: Mujhe darr hai kay wo ap mujhe dei nahi payein gay.
The king got curious and asked.
K: Aisa kya hai?
N: Yuvraj.
The whole darbar gasped listening to her and the king calmly said.
K: Yeh ap kya bol rahi hai?
N: Mai Mohabbat karti hoon Yuvraj se,
Manik was shocked hearing that and he said.
K: Ap ki iss gustakhi ki wajah se ap ki jaan bhi ja sakti hai.
Nandini chuckled dryly and coming in the centre she audibly said.
N: Kis ki Talvaar par saar rakhoon yeh bata do mujhe, agar ishq karna gunnah hai to sazah do mujhe. Ae mohabbat ka itihaz likhne waloo mai agar harf e galat hoon to mita do mujhe.
The king was impressed of her courage. She bent a little and left after few minutes leaving him in deep thoughts. As soon as the darbar finished, Manik was really anxious, he came to meet Nandini and as soon as Nandini got the news that he came. She dismissed everybody from there and came in the chamber. Manik came closer and said.
M: Kya mai jan sakta hoon, abhi ap ne bhare darbar mai kya kiya hai?
N: Apni mohabbat ka izhaar kiya hai.
His eyes softened and coming closer he cupped her face and Nandini closed her eyes feeling his touch on her body. Manik whispered.
M: Ap ki badnami bhi ho sakti hai, isse.
N: Lut gaye the haam pehli mulaqat mai.
Manik placed his forehead against her's and said.
M: Mai sirf ap ko apna saara waqt nahi dei sakoon ga.
N: Maloom hai.
Manik held her from neck and placed her head on his chest embracing her. Nandini sighed in extreme happiness she just found. She hugged him back and he found the peace in her arms which he had never found not even in his other's wives. Breaking the hug, she said.
N: Hum inteezar kare gay ap ka.
He nodded and after kissing her forehead, he went. The king though alot about it and he got easily convinced as Manik did not have a son. He thought maybe she could give them a son. Thinking this he announced that,
K: Yuvraj ka beyah Rajkumari Nandini ke saath karne ki tiyaari ki jaye.
