"But Clare said she owns this apartment since her parents moved out.." i asked with a confused frown on my face.
"Yeah, technically , but since they're my parents too.. i ALSO own it " he smiled sarcastically
God this guy was getting on my nerves.
"Anyways u can come in while i call her and we get this thing sorted." He rolled his eyes and went to go get changed.

I stepped in and looked around. The apartment itself was beautiful with white walls, a huge kitchen island, marble counters, giant windows, a balcony and an open plan i loved everything about it, exept for one thing, it was SO messy. With piles of socks, underwear and a few stray shirts and dirty dishes on the counters it was absolutely disgusting.
I immediately pulled out my phone to call Clare when her brother came out the bedroom with a hoodie on this time. "yeah, Clare? hey Um theres sort of an issue with the apartment" I looked over at her brother and as he mouthed to put it on speaker. "Really? omg Grace whats wrong with it i really hoped you would like it!" i set the phone on the counter and her brother starts talking. "hey sis so turns out you forgot to mention im also living here.."
"What?!?" she paused " what about your girlfriend Sarah or whatever?"
"Yeahh we broke up a month ago" he looked at me with a smirk
i shake my head, disgusted, "so what are we supposed to do Clare?" I asked worriedly.
"Well since legally we both own it i cant kick christopher out and i would get you to crash with me but-"
"You're in texas with your dumb boyfriend I know I know"
"You're STILL with that guy?" Christopher asks with a groan.
"you really could do much better Clare" i reluctantly agree with him.
"Whatever you guys sort this out with yourself" she hangs up.
What am i gonna do? I mean where am i even gonna sleep tonight? He reads the worried look on my face "Relax ill crash with a friend or something until this gets sorted Grace" he smiles and goes to his room to start packing.
