Mirae POV
"Mirae wake up dear"
I hear the voice of my mother coming from the side of my bed.
"5 minutes more please mom"
I try to persuade her into letting me sleep in just for a few minutes.
"Come on Mirae, today's your first day at your new school and it wouldn't be very nice to be late on the first day, now wouldn't it?"
Urg the new school, well long story short I'm going going to this horrendous so-called prestigious high school because my father who I haven't seen in more than 5 and half years thought it was a good idea to surprise me with a fully paid scholarship to a fancy high school for rich kids thinking I'd forgive him for abandoning me, which is the reason why I have to go to this new school.
After mom had left
"Fine mom" I replied
"Great, now go freshen up, and your uniform is in your closet "
"Ok mom" I said before going to freshen up.
After 15 minutes I came out of the shower and put on my uniform. I then brushed my hair out till it was neat and sprayed my perfume onto my collar and wrists before grabbing my shoes to go downstairs.
"Mimi can you help me with my shoelaces" I hear my little brother Jihon say.
"Of course Jihon" I say while lifting his shoe onto my lap to tie up his show laces.
"Noona are you still going to pick me up from school today?" Jihon asked while looking down.
"I pick you up all the time so why would today be any different?" I replied while lifting his other shoe to tie.
"Aren't you going to your new school now so how can you pick me up?" Jihon responded curiously.
"You're right, I am going to a new school but I'm still going to pick you up from daycare so don't worry" I reassured him since he sounded down.
I had finished tying up his shoes and then heard mum calling us down.
"Here is your lunch, its Jihon's favorite cheese kimbap " she said to the little boy.
"Where's mine mom" I sulked
She smacked my arm playfully.
"Miraeee~ did you forget that your school has a cafeteria ." She blantedly said
"Ohh yeah" I spoke still a little bummed that mom didn't give me some.
" Ok babies since im going to work in a few minutes i wont be able to drop you guys off at school so why dont you two get going for school now" mom had told us.
"Ok mom" I said as I continued to open the front door while holding Jihon's hand.
"Dont forgot to pick Jihon up from daycare sweetie"
Mom yelled before we could go out.
