Will's POV

Everyone splits up and heads to their own directions of Hawkins.
I head to north on my bike, but I decided to explore the outskirts of Hawkins as well.
My legs hurt from biking for so long.
Jesus, what is the wall of bushes?
I go through and find an old, worn out warehouse.
Brimborn Steel Works.
What the... rats?
Ow, my neck..
Ugh, he's here. He has to be!
I go in, feeling incredibly anxious.
"MIKE?! WHERE ARE YOU? ARE YOU IN HERE?" I yell.
My bike falls over, I could hear it.
I walk outside to get on my bike and leave, but it isn't there.
"Please." Someones voice whispers.
"Who said that?"
Something drops behind me.
It's a watch.
The same one me and Mike have.
"WILL! WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU!" Max exclaims from behind me.
"We couldn't find Mike. We looked everywhere..." Lucas says.
"We tried. Let's just go, explore more later." Dustin states. I go on Lucas' bike instead of mine, because mine is gone.
On the way back to town, we see my brother and Nancy at the police station.
"Guys? What going on?" I ask.
"We found a pool of blood next to Castle Byers. Do you know why it's there, Will?" Nancy asks.
"No, but have you seen Mike, anywhere?"
"Nope. We-" Jonathan gets interrupted by the ground shaking violently.
"Sh-t, GUYS! EARTHQUAKE!" Jonathan yells.
"CMON, USE THE PROCEDURE!" I yell.
The procedures are things my brother and Nancy taught us, in case of emergencies. Natural disaster stuff and whatnot.
"HURRY UP!" Max yells.
After carrying out the procedure, which was incredibly simply, the earthquake stops suddenly after about 4 minutes.
A bit too suddenly.
"Okay, I think we're good."
"July 1st, 6:52PM. Possible 5.3 earthquake, not yet confirmed." A voice from behind us says.
"Oh, hello! I've seen you around before. You hang out with Mike, right?" They say.
"Yeah, who are you?" Max asks, seeming annoyed.
"I'm Vesper. When it was raining on Saturday I gave Mike an extra umbrella I have." Vesper explains.
"Uhm, I kinda need to talk to you guys." They ask, attempting to be polite.
"Sure." I agree.
"So, just to be clear, you're terrible at hiding this whole otherworldly dimension thing." Vesper explains.
"How did y-" Lucas gets cut off.
"Don't worry about that. I can help you. I work here, at the police station. I have full access to all the files, and I can give YOU access to them as well, only at nighttime. Trust me, they can help you much more than you think." They explain.
"I won't interfere with your stupid plans unless 100% needed. I'm not completely sure why this is all happening. But, I only ask for one thing in return." Vesper continues.
"And what is that?" Max asks.
"I want to join your party. Just as a look out, the scout basically. I won't do a lot, I swear."
"And how are we supposed to trust you?" Dustin rolls his eyes.
"Follow me."
This is weird. How do they know all this?
We get to this room that's pretty dark, but just well-lit enough to see a tank.
A tank with a demo-dog's head in it.
And it's still moving.
Vesper takes a file from the desk in front of us.
Inside, there are pictures of every single person who was killed due to "mysterious circumstances", a.k.a Upside Down creatures.

"What.... what the hell is all this?" Max asks.

"As I said, this can help you... I'm also gonna assume you know about Dr. Brenner."

"Yes." I reply.

"Papa?" El asks from behind Max.

"Yes, Papa. My brother has some sort of relation to Brenner. I shouldn't be trusting you with this information, but my brother is sort of.. undercover. It's so important that I can't even know his real name. However he trusts me enough with this sh-t. Now, I've lost someone I really care about to this whole thing. I wanna help, take all this information in exchange for me being in your party as a scout, or leave valuable files that could help you greatly in your mission to destroy that dimension which is capable of put an end to all of Hawkins in one go if powerful enough. Not to mention it can help whoever's gotten flayed, even you Will. So, deal, or no deal?" Vesper explains.

Everyone's in shock.

"We'll take it. Does anyone disagree? Vesper's right." Dustin agrees.

"Fine." We all say at once.

"Okay, good. I'm also sorry for being so rude. Let's just try to take it easy. 4th of July's in 3 days. Plus, we've had a long day." Vesper mentions.

"Yeah, we have.. Where in Hawkins do you live by the way, we can find you easier if you tell us." Max proposed.

"I don't have a home. I just sleep here, haha.." Vesper revealed, seeming embarrassed and uncomfortable.

"Oh. You can stay with me! I have an extra sleeping bag." Max offers.

"No it's fine, I'll just see you guys tomorrow. Bye!" Vesper says with a smile. The smile doesn't seem genuine, however.

"Alright, see you." Lucas waved goodbye, and so does everyone else.

Will's POV

I'm just gonna make some breakfast.

There's 2 days until the 4th of July, and the mayor is hosting some carnival event for it.

I'm still worried about Mike.

I haven't seen him for 3 days as of today.

Oh, the phone's ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hey kiddo."

"Who's this?"

"It's Hopper. El's said Mike's been missing for a bit, and that he's possessed by the same thing that possessed you. Is that true?"

"Yeah... I'm really worried. I just don't know what to do."

"That's okay, we'll find him. Where's Joyce?"

"Mom's in town, I think."

"Alright, thanks. And, we'll find Mike. I promise."

He hangs up.

I miss Mike.

I want to tell him.

I really want to.

Whatever, he'll decline anyway.

I just think I'll just stay home today and sketch.

Before I can get to my room, there's a knock at the door.

It's everyone, from Robin to El.

The only people not there are Mike, my mom, and Hopper.

"We found something."

"What?"

As you can tell, Vesper's now a part of all this.
They won't appear too much, but every once in a while.
I'll be uploading again soon, I'm pretty energized today.
I know it's not a big milestone, but we reached 30 views! I'm pretty happy!

As for the length of this fanfic, I'm aiming for 30 parts.
After I'm done with this one, I might do more ST fanfics, or just my own story, my own characters and storyline.
