He was taking too much time and–although he was good at hiding it–his father was the person who worried the most about Zain. His mother could manage to get a hold of herself and be strong.

"Do you think he's alright?"

Daniyal's wife cut him off, "I talked to him about this many times. He's just nervous."
"And we all know how he gets when he's nervous," Naila finished. The few guests that they had invited were already in their cars and ready to go. Although no one said it aloud, they could sense that there was something amiss about the groom.

"I'm going to go check on him," Daniyal announced and walked upstairs before his wife could stop him.

"Let's go," Zain exhaled, appearing in the staircase. His father chuckled when he saw him. Excitement with an undertone of terrifiedness. Sweaty palms, jitters, blushing and even a small smile. He was perfect.

"You okay?"

"I will be."

A/N: That's it for tonight! Yeah, I know it's pretty short but I guess that's the point. This novella had been collecting dust in my google drive for months but Wattpad had been unavailable for some reason. I'm so glad that's working again and I'm so excited to post in the coming month!

Until next week...
