About Last Night

Chapter 1

Kira P.O.V

"Kira, you going to Amber's tonight?" I looked over at Jack's caramel eyes looking back at me. He's such a charmer.

"I might. Why?" I smiled back at him as he looked down at his phone at a ping from it.

"No reason..." He trailed off his sentence and started typing. I took a quick sneak at his screen and saw that he was texting Ryan, his girlfriend.

Ryan and Jack have been together since they were 14 and 15 while Jack and I have been friends for about 6 years now. Ryan has been my friend for a while now and I totally love Jack and her dating, but I feel as if somethings wrong...

"Hey girl and guy!" Audrey hugged me from behind, interupting my thoughts.

"Hey! You going to Amber's tonight?" I asked the previous question Jack had asked me before.

"Yeah. How about you two?" She bounced her eyebrows at me, making my cheeks glow red.

"I'm going, Kira doesn't know and Ryan is busy." Jack answered for me then returned to his phone.

"Oh, well Kira you should definitely come!" She kissed my cheek, as friends, and walked away leaving Jack and I alone eating lunch.

"So, who are you texting?" I asked, trying to make conversation with him.

"Nobody." He didn't look up from his phone. I looked over at the screen and saw he was still texting Ryan.

"Okay..." I took a bit of my salad, which I hated eating since I love food so much!

He took a few fries and finally put down his phone. Once he was focusing on something other than texting Ryan, he looked calm. He looked like the Jack I love.

"You should come to the party. It'll be fun!" He nudged my shoulder and smiled.

"I dunno..." I stole one of his fries and savored the taste of them in my mouth.

"Pleaseeeeee!?" He put his head in my lap and begged me for about 5 minutes.

"Okay! I'll go." I gave in so he'd stop being so annoeying, even though it was kinda cute.

"Yes!" He held his hand out in a fist towards me. I got the message and fist bumped him.

Why does he have to be dating Ryan? I have nothing against it since their my best friends, but I think I may really like Jack. Like really like him...
