A party in Willowbook? That will be the first one I've gone to since I've moved here with Layla. She's going to be pumped. I just know it, she's probably already got a dress and heels picked out. Crazy woman. Specifically, the party is Cynthia's engagement party. She's welcoming anyone who wants to come and it's taking place four days from now; Saturday. I'm pretty excited for it, and so is Cynthia. Ever since her engagement, she's been in and out of the Coffee Shop so happily and full of life. I'm happy for her.

My date with Easton went very well. He bought dinner and I bought ice cream after. We just hung out, watched t.v. talked more about ourselves and what we like. Just more things to love about him. It's getting bad..I think I'm falling in love.

﹏﹏﹏

Fuck, I promised myself I wouldn't fall in love again. Why did I have to fucking move into the this fucking town and find the love of my life here? I can't go through the pain of the after. If she leaves, or doesn't feel the same way, if she cheats. If I allow myself to love her like I do right now, I'm risking heartache again, but worse because she is fucking incredible. And better than anyone I've ever met, and I haven't even kissed her yet.

I walk into the Coffee Shop, at my recurring time and order my regular order. "Hey you" she smiles. Yep, no way I'm falling out of love with her even if she breaks my heart. " Hey, Sweetheart, my regular please"

"Aren't you sick of it? You should try something else. We got lots of good stuff you know" she shrugs.

"What do you like?"

"Well I like the Apple Cider here, the chocolate milk, chocolate dip donut, chocolate chip cookie..." she lists.

"Okay then, I'll get an Apple Cider and a chocolate milk, and two chocolate cookies, in separate bags" I smile.

She raises an eyebrow, but types it in the till, handing me the debit machine. I pay and she hands me my order a minute later. "Here you go"

"Thank you," I take it but hand back the chocolate milk and one cookie. "Have a good day" I wink, leaving but turn back before going out the door to see her grab the milk and cookie, smiling.

I turn the corner of the Shop to go and work in the town Gazebo. But I bump into a girl and curse, holding my beverage away from me, so it doesn't burn one of us. "Sorry!" she backs away, dusting her shirt off.

"It's fine" I look up and my eyes widen. Oh shit, no.

"Easton?" her jaw drops and she smiles.

"Oh, Kait. Hi" I groan internally.

"So good so see you"

"Sure"

She chuckles, "What are you doing here in Willowbook?"

"I moved here, had a big project to do in this area, it was easier to just move" I look around trying to figure how to leave. Kait is my latest ex girlfriend. It was a short month of dating, we met at a party and hit it off. But I broke it off because she was a little too much. I think it was more of a lust relationship than love. A distraction from my last girlfriend that broke my heart.

"Oh no way, cool!" I noticed her looking me up and down. Got to get out of here, got to get out of here.

"Mhm, why are you here?"

"Oh got invited to the party taking place here, my friend was just engaged" she smiles.

"Oh nice, yeah heard about the party"

"You coming?"

"Maybe"

"You totally should, it'd be fun"
