"If i fall down, i'll bring you with me!"

"Dude, i can fly."

Renjun glared at the blonde haired girl while he tried to stabilise himself on the roof of the tall building. Then, Hanzel held his arm and pulled him to sit beside her.

"Tch, why did you bring me up here?"

"Heh, no reason."

Renjun sighed and eyed the scenery of Seoul from above. It was rather beautiful. So beautiful that his lips curved upwards and his eyes reflected the colour of beautiful lights from below.

He raised his head to look at the dark sky above and closed his eyes, feeling the cold wind blow his hair.

He can't see everything, but he was sure this is something worth living for. It felt calm yet mesmerising. That he forgot he was on the verge of dying in the hands of The Dark Lord.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"she asked while staring at the human boy with a smile.

"It really is. I almost forgot that this king of world really exist..."he chuckled bitterly as he turned to her with teary eyes. "I'm pathetic, aren't i?"

"Yup," Hanzel nodded while he glared at her. "But... i can see that you're not just a weak human or a crybaby. You did something that i couldn't do..." Renjun frowned.

"You fought for yourself. Alone."

With that sentence, he smiled again with a tear escaping from his eye. Hanzel opened her mouth to say something, but she ended up standing in her full height while offering her hand to the boy.

"Oh?"he was confused but he took it anyways and in a blink of an eye, Hanzel pulled him into a hug, spread her black wings and flew across the sky in full speed.

"Yaaaahhhhh!!!"

Renjun screamed in fear when the demon stopped, but didn't land on the roof. She was floating in the air with her wings moving up and down while Renjun hugged her neck so he won't fall.

"Y-yah... don't let me go."

"I won't. I promise."

She replied, Renjun hugging her tighter than before. Her heart soften at the sight of his cute and baby-like behaviour. Her hands trailed to his back and caressed it gently.

"I'll... try to help you..."

"Thank you... Hanzel."

She flew down and he landed on his feet, still holding each other's hands tightly. Hanzel stayed on the air while Renjun frowned.

"Where are you going?"

"Go home, Renjun..."

"I'm asking you a question!"he raised his voice while she tried to let his hand go but didn't succeed as he held it tighter. Hanzel smiled and pushed his hands until he gave up and let it go.

"I'll be back tomorrow. Go home."

It was the last thing she said before flying towards the dark sky and vanished in thin air.

It was evening and it was time for people to go home and meet with their families for dinner. The sky was turning darker as time passed.

Jaemin walked through the busy streets without sparing a glance at the people who bumped into him and apologized. But he finally stopped and turned around when he heard his name.

"Jaemin-ah! Wait!!" Jeno screamed as he ran towards him and tried to catch his breath after running. "Yah... wait..."

"Why are you here?" Jaemin asked coldly. Jeno brushed his hair and wiped the sweats on his forehead then fanned himself while Jaemin waited for an answer.

"You... why were you ignoring me all day?"he approached the angel and asked.

"You came only to tell me that?"

"No! Don't forget that we have an english project together! Write about your partner! And the deadline is tomorrow!" Jeno exclaimed while folding his arms.

"Jeno-yah... i'm sorry, but can we do it tomorrow? I have an important thing to do. Let's meet tomorrow, hmm?"he tapped his friend's shoulder before walking away.

It made Jeno sigh in defeat and messed with his hair.

"Aish... what's with him?! Is he on his period?! Fuck you!! Yah, Na Jaemin!!"

He arrived at a quiet place (i love that movie😭) filled with big trees and dry leaves around him. Checking the place, he sighed in relief when there was no one except him.

He walked further into the forest and reminded himself to be careful to not trip and get hurt because of his clumsiness.

Now, he was in a hidden cemetery far from people's eyes. Carefully, he stepped forward and stopped at certain tombstone which is more deeper into the forest and further from the cemetery before.

He knelt down and smiled with teary eyes. "Today is your birthday,"

"Huang Minseo..."
