"Today is your birthday,"

"Huang Minseo..."

He placed a bouquet of red roses on the grave with a bitter smile before reaching his hand out and caressed the white tombstone.

He was sad, but happy to meet her at the same time. For the past years, it had been like this after she died. Because of him.

It was all his fault. If he didn't came to the Human Realm from the first time, she would be alive. Happily.

Everything would be normal if he wasn't there. Now, he could only regret his decisions and cry all day without doing anything.

"Yo wassup, old man!"

Hanzel walked to the Dark Lord who was sitting on his throne with his crown as usual. He chuckled watching her, as he stood up and went down the stairs to stand in front of her.

"Seo Hanzel."he called out. The girl grinned widely, showing off her sharp fangs while her eyes turned red. She approached him more, but there was still a decent distance between them.

"You're in love."he started.

"Mmmm...?"she pretended to think for a while and lifted her shoulders. "Come to think of it, i don't think so,"she made a fake sad face while pouting.

"Just wanna help this guy named Huang Renjun cuz he's a fun friend to play with."

She tried to control her emotions from spilling out with this unfamiliar feeling in her heart. Why does her heart always beat rapidly when she heard his name?

"Because you love him and i'm afraid i have to tell you that falling in love with a-"

"I don't."she stared at him with her usual evil smirk while her hands was filled with red smoke as she threw it on the ground and a red fire formed, following her hand movements.

"Once upon a time..."

She shaped the fire.

"There was this one boy. He had a pretty messed up past, but he have a family to take care of, so he always got away from dying. And came this one demon, she wanted to kill him, but she felt sad for him, so she decided to find out about his past,"

"And it turned out that she wanted to help him all the time. She only knew half of his story, but she felt feelings where..."she paused.

"She was happy..."she smiled. "Sad..."the smile faded. "And her heart keeps beating fastly, but she only met him for one day... is it possible?"

"Then she asked herself, 'can her King just forget about him and let him go?' Because she would..."

She put out the red fire and for the first time in forever, (Frozen😩) she looked at him with sparkling and pleading eyes.

"Would him?"she asked with a soft tone.

The Dark Lord widen his eyes, and he was in front of her in a blink of an eye.
He was staring deep into her soul, eyes, face... and he was shocked how it was filled with honesty and hope.

"No... i must kill him! And you! Do you want to be banned-"

"Why? Why him?"

Dark Lord scoffed and his eyes were as red as fire while it burned holes through her face. She didn't the slightest of fear since she was used to it.

"Because he deserves a punishment."

The girl frowned in confusion and asked back. "Punishment?" He walked backwards with an endless evil smirk on his face.

"He did a lot of sins in the past but he didn't seem to remember it. Why is that? I'll let you figure that out on your own."

A red shining light flew to her and when she opened her eyes, she was back to the Human Realm, in front of the college on a beautiful sunny day.
