basically it is a disease concept,or something like that idek lol
so its called the bleach disease
its called that bc ppl who have the disease slowly lose their color and they just turn, white
now the disease doesn't have any direct effect on the victim at first, but instead the ppl around the victim. if u get close to a person with the disease, u get this really uneasy feeling, like they might betray you or backstab you or something at any minute. u have no idea why, but u feel that way and it feels. absolutely terrible. so ppl tend to distance themselves from these 'bleached'. and thats what the virus wants. bc of the loneliness, bleached tend to go into a state of depression or go insane. at one point they'll reach the peak point of their depression and thats when the disease is strongest. the virus will make its way into your heart and split it, as well as ur entire body in half. you just. split completely in half. then each half becomes home for a new bleach virus, and it waits for its next victim :]
also the bleached's hearts and blood turn black instead of white. bc. why not lol its my terrifying thought i get to choose the quirks
theres no known cure buuuuuuut there is a way to prevent it :) basically it is strengthened by negativity so it doesn't really like positive ppl so stay positive, theres always something out there thats worth it :)
