I can not believe it's already graduation day! This senior year felt like it sped right past us like a flash, I got off my bed after zoning out about what the adult life would be for about 5 minutes, I went into my bathroom to get ready for the ceremony, I'm really hyper that I can't stay still, my body is literally trembling!
I feel like I've ate two bags of sugar when in reality I haven't even had breakfast! I brushed my messy hair and started brushing my teeth.
Unfortunately, I got toothpaste on my tongue which burned but I'm old enough to deal with it. I went back to my room and went into my dresser, I grabbed my graduation dress that was neatly folded on a shelf.
I put it on and damn do I look fine! I did a few poses and then took it off, I took it to the bathroom and placed it in a hanger, I got a towel and took a shower, I then dried my hair, I looked at myself in the mirror and wondered, should I grow it long? I don't know, anyway, I put on my graduation dress and took one final look at myself in the mirror before heading downstairs to grab some breakfast because I'm STARVING.
My mom saw me and signaled me to sit down, she made me waffles, I ate them quickly, I didn't have much time so I couldn't enjoy them which was saddening, after that i met up with red velvet who was waiting outside in his car, he always gives me a ride.
We made it to school with a drunk driver almost hitting the car, we rushed into the school and ran to the school auditorium, we looked around and soon met the rest of the group, latte and almond were a bit late since latte slept in, she explained that she couldn't sleep last night since she was to excited.
We sat in the chairs and waited for the principal to step on stage, not long after he did, he tested the microphone before doing the ceremonial speech, after that, he listed the names of students who would be getting an award this year, and then those students would step on stage and get the award along with a photo of the principal and them hold the award paper. I got a award and was asked to step on stage.
I had gotten 'the best essay writer' this year and I held it like a trophy, as I should, me and the principal took a picture and I stepped off stage, all of my friends and my boyfriend congratulated me, after I few more photos, the award's ceremony ended, we then were called to stand up and go to the soccer field, we held our hats and threw them up into the6?8
Finishing the graduation, we picked up our hats and I took one final look at the high school. The cracks on the wall to the very field in owns that I'm standing on.
I'm an adult.
