Forbidden Love (Rigby x Pinkie Pie)

The Party

Pinkie awoke from her bed early in the morning. She stretched and looked outside her window to see birds chirping happily and the early morning nature gathering in gardens for their breakfast. She brushed out her messy mane and it suddenly clicked- today was Rigbys party! There was so much to do, so many things to prepare for, she didn't know where to start first.

After a few minutes of thinking and planning, Pinkie called each of her friends, inviting them to come with her later tonight. She hopped down to the shop happily where Mr and Mrs cake were standing. They greeted her with warm hugs and smiles, congratulating her on making so much money after months of business being down. They asked how, to which she quickly explained the story of how she met Rigby, and that there was a party tonight, and of course she planned on being there. Mrs Cake was very happy with the business and happily let Pinkie take a day off. Hearing this, Pinkie's eyes lit up. She gave Mrs Cake a tight hug and rushed to her room where she started to look for something to wear.

She decided she would wear her gala dress Rarity designed for her not long ago. It was lovely in her eyes, and it perfectly captured her personality. She laid it out and cleaned it up, making sure it looked perfect. Even more perfect because all of her friends agreed to go with her tonight! Pinkie was more than excited, although she really wanted to see Rigby again. Just thinking about him made her stomach feel like it was full of butterflies. Sure enough, Pinkie realized she was falling for Rigby, despite knowing so little about him. Maybe though, that would change tonight. She had to be sure she looked good enough to impress him.

*Time skip*

Finally, time for what Pinkie had been waiting for. She slipped on her dress and fixed her mane quickly. She looked absolutely stunning. She headed out the door to meet her friends, which were already on their way to the shop. She began looking for them and within a few minutes spotted them out. She greeted them happily and couldn't contain herself.

"Wow, you all look great! Aren't you ponies excited? We haven't gone to something like this in ages, it's going to be so fun!" She bounced around and cheered.

Twilight Sparkle looked at Pinkie with a look of amazement. Secretly, deep down, she had always liked Pinkie. Tonight, she looked as beautiful as ever. She held back her real feelings though, and started small talk.

"Wow Pinkie, that dress sure looks great on you." Twilight said.

Pinkie giggled and skipped around Twilight, "Thank you thank you! You ponies look amazing as well!"

"Well ya can't give the credit to all us now, most'v this was all Rarity!" Apple Jack responded.

Rarity blushed, as she loved receiving praise for her hard work, "Its my pleasure, darlings. Have to make sure you all look fabulous tonight."

"You sure outdone yourself for sure Rarity, thanks!" Rainbow Dash chimed in.

"Yeah, good job Rarity." Fluttershy added shyly.

The rest of the ponies nodded their heads in agreement and were off to the park. They arrived in about 20 minutes time. Rigby was right- this party was huge! People walked around everywhere, having a good time and dancing. Pinkie felt herself getting excited again,

"You ponies feel free to split up and have a good time for now, I'm gonna go find a friend really quick. He's the one who invited us and bought all of my sweets!"

The rest of the ponies agreed and went their separate ways. Meanwhile, Pinkie was on a hunt to find Rigby. She looked around high and low for a few minutes until finally, there he was. He stood beside this taller guy, bird was better fit. He was blue and seemed to have the same personality as Rigby. She decided to finally approach them.

"Hey Rigby! Awesome party for sure,you did it! I haven't been to a party in so long, this is gonna be so much fun for sure."

Rigby looked at her up and down, "Woah, Pinkie. You look, like, totally awesome."

Pinkie blushed in response, "Thank you, it's just a little something my friend Rarity made a while back."

"You look great," Rigby said, "Oh, and this is Mordecai. He works with me at this park here."

Mordecai gave her a little nod and a "hmph" noise.

"Yeah, Rigby here has told me all about you." Mordecai responded.

Rigby looked at Mordecai with embarrassment, "Dude, seriously?!"

Mordecai began laughing at Rigby, "Hahah, dude don't take things so seriously. I'm just messing around with you. I'm gonna see if I can find Margaret."

"Ughhh fine," Rigby said, "Go get your crush or whatever, me and Pinkie are gonna hang out anyways, hmph."

Mordecai walked off and left standing was Pinkie and Rigby. They locked eyes for a quick minute before Rigby finally spoke.

"Sooo, you wanna go check out my room? I live in this house here."

"I would love to!" Pinkie responded.

With that, Rigby lead Pinkie up the stairs of the large house, away from the party outside, and into his room. Pinkie loved it. It was so cool to her that he slept on a trampoline, and that he got to live with all the people he was close to. They ended up sitting and chatting instead of leaving, though.

"Haha yeah! You get me so well, Pinkie." Rigby laughed.

Pinkie laughed along with him, so hard that she fell backwards. Only, she ended up falling on Rigby. She quickly tried to get up, embarrassed and tripping on herself.

"I'm so sorry! Here, let me just-"

"No wait," Rigby said, "I uhh I kind of like it like this. With you in my arms."

They both blushed, as Pinkie relaxed comfortably in Rigby's arms. He held her for just a little bit, but to them, it felt like a lifetime. He relaxed his head in her mane, pulling her tight. Pinkie felt her stomach do flips the longer she sat there. Finally, they both decided to get up, looking each other in the eyes for a minute. No words, just admiring one another.

"Hey Pinkie, I actually have a question for you." Rigby asked.

Pinkie tilted her head, still locking eyes with him, "Yes Rigby?"

He took a deep breath and got closer with her, "Would you uhh.. like to go on a date.. with me?"

Pinkies face lit up and in that moment she wanted to hop around happily and cheer, but she instead kept her cool in the moment.

"I would love to Rigby!" she said, with excitement still in her voice

Rigby's face lit up with a wide smile and he hugged her.

"Yes, yes! You are NOT gonna regret this. I know the perfect place. Here, keep my phone number, I'll call you when this is all over and we can plan it out."

Pinkie accepted a small slip with Rigbys number written on it. She hugged him back, and they finally made their way back downstairs to be with the rest of the party.
