Why can't it be me

After seeing Ash kiss Serena, Lillie, Mallow and Lana went back to the school in complete silence. "How are you feeling Lillie?" Mallow asked concerned about her friends feelings. "Oh I'm fine" was the answer she got. "Are you sure?" she asked once again, still not convinced that Lillie was telling the truth. "I mean... I am of course a bit sad that Ash already has a girlfriend... but i-it's okay" Lillie sighed. "I think I'm just gonna go home..." she then added. "Oh... okay if thats what you feel like. See you tomorrow then?" Mallow said. "Yeah see you tomorrow Lillie" Lana agreed.

Lillie waved goodbye and left.

When Lille got home she went to her room and threw herself on the bed. She put a pillow over her head and screamed into it. "WHYYYYYY" she screamed tears streaming down her face. "Why can't it be me..." she asked herself. "NO! I wont accept this!" she then stated. "Ash has to love me deep down... I simply need to make him realise that". She then went to sleep thinking about how she was gonna make that happen.

"Wow look at the time" Serena said looking at her phone. "We need to head back to the hotel before the others start getting worried" she told Ash. "True..." Ash agreed. He took her hand and they started walking back to the hotel. "Hey Serena... did you also get a feeling that we were being watched before?" he asked her. "Huh... not really, did you?" she wondered. Ash remained silent for a bit before shrugging and saying that it doesn't matter. They arrived at the hotel and were greeted by the others.

(Time skip to 23:00)

As everyone was getting ready to settle in Koharu remembered that she wanted to ask Serena something about Sylveon so she went out of her and Goh's room and went to Ash and Serena's. "Hey Serena" she said as she opened the door to their room. However she quickly closed it before anyone noticed her because she saw Ash and Serena hugging eachother. She stood outside the door and decided that she would ask Serena the next day instead. 'I guess it's no suprise that they are dating considering how they looked at eachother when we were on the boat... that would also explain why he was in such a rush when he got the letter' Koharu thought to herself as she went to bed.
