A Sick Marinette-Chapter 1

"Ugh Tikki, I feel awful" Marinette said as she turned over to her kwami.

Tikki leaned in to feel her owners forehead. "Oh gosh Marinette, your burning up! I think you should stay off school today. It could get worse."

"SCHOOL?! IT'S A SATURDAY!"

"Oh Marinette. It's Wednesday today!"

Marinette got up in a hurry ad quickly got dressed whilst weak in the knees. With every movement she sniffed and coughed.

"Marinette you can't go to school like this!"

"Tikki, I have to! You know what Mr Damocles said, my attendance is already low enough from missing so much school to save Paris. If it gets any more lower, he'd have to call in my parents and I don't want them to worry, they ask so may questions!"

Tikki sighed. "Fine, but just be careful, hopefully there won't be any akumatizations today."

Marinette grabbed her bag after eating her breakfast and rushed off to school with just a few minutes to spare. She met Alya in front of the school doors along with Nino and Adrien.

"Hey mar-" She said with a pause as she stared at Marintte panting, sweating and red, more red than when she's around Adrien. "Marinette what happened to you girl? Your hairs a mess and you're so red!"

"I know, I just *achoo* I just have a small cold, that's all."

*Bell rings*

"Alright guys, I'll see you in class." Adrien said rushing off with Nino. Alya walked behind them holding Marinettes hand in case she needs support. They arrive in class moments later with a few eyes turned on Marinette.

"Marinette you're late." Muttered Mrs Bustier.

"It's not her fault miss, she's feeling a bit low." Alya said trying to tidy Marinette up by making her hair look less messy.

"Alright, just take a seat girls."

The two sat in their seats and put their bags down, Marinette still in a slump. About half of the lesson had gone when all of a sudden, "I think I'm gonna-" Marinette launched herself to the front of the class and threw up in the bin.

"Ew Marinette, if you're gonna do that, get out!" Chlow screamed at her trying to make her look embarrassed.

"Real mature Chloe" Adrien said to her. "I can take her to the nurses office"

Miss Bustier nodded and allowed them to take their bags and leave. Adrien wrapped Marinettes arm around his neck for support and walked her over to the nurses office.
Her left her there and went back to class. Marinette was in the nurses office most of the day. When the day was over, she met Alya, Adrien and Nino outside. "Hey dudette, feeling any better? Marientte tried to get a word out but her throat hurt too much to speak.

"Shoot, I would take her home but I gotta babysit Ella and Etta."

"And I gotta work on a project that due tomorrow! Dude, can you take her home?"

"Yeah sure, gimme your arm Marinette." He wrapped her arm around his neck and slowly walked to her house. Her parents were out so he asked her for the keys and took her up to her room and placed the keys on the counter. He placed her on her bed without her blanket as she was already burning up. "Do you want me to stay with- *crash* "An akuma! Marinette, stay in bed, I'm gonna go home and hide, don't get up you're too sick."

Adrien rushed out of the bakery and hid behind a building. "You know what time it is Plagg!"

"You're joking! I was just about to enjoy my camambert in PEACE!"

"Sorry Plagg, no time for that. Plagg claws out!"

"Marinette you shouldn't go to fight this villain, let Cat Noir take it." Tikki said in a concerned voice.

"I can't, I'm the only one who can purify the akuma." Slowly getting out of bed, she murmered her transformation words. "Tikki spots on."
