A Sick Bug

A Caring Cat-Chapter 5

"Hey kitty."

"Hey purrrincess."

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be out on patrol with Ladybug." She obviously had to act like she didn't know Ladybug was sick.

"Ladybugs feeling unwell so I decided to visit you. I was also just checking around Paris earlier on in the day and I saw you walking to school looking sick so I just thought I'd check up on you." He had to pretend that he saw her in his hero form to tell her that he knew she was sick.

"Aw, thanks Cat. That's sweet but *cough* I'm fine. I'll go get you something warm to eat, it's cold out there."

"No! Marinette you're sick. I also came by to tell you that you need medicine and since you can't go and get it, I'll get it for you."

"No Cat, I promise I don't need-" She suddenly grabbed her bin and started throwing up in it. Cat sat on her bed beside her and rubbed her back for a few minutes.

"I'm not taking no for an answer. I'll go get it and you stay I  bed. I'll be back soon." He knew what she was going to say. She can be stubborn sometimes but only because she didn't want others to bother for her. She didn't want Cat to go out in the cold so she'd rather stay sick although she really needed medicine. Cat trembled out of her window and went to get her some medicine.

"Wow, you don't see the sensitive side of Cat Noir much." Tikki stated with a small giggle at the end

"I didn't want him to go out. It's too cold out there, he could get sick to. He can be so stubborn sometimes!

"Marinette I hate to say it but I think you might be the stubborn one this time."

"What do you mean?"

"You're always putting others before yourself. You would rather stay sick and barely speak than have Cat Noir get you some medicine."

"Well he'd better sick too then, Ladybug and Cat Noir can't both get sick. Who would take care of Paris?"

"It's not even that cold tonight, we've had colder nights. Cat Noir has a leather suit on, he'd stay warm and even if he did get sick, it'd only be a tiny cold. You need to ficus on yourself more. How's Ladybug going to get better if she doesn't get medicine?"

"I guess you're right."

*knock knock*

"Quick Tikki hide."

It didn't take long for Cat to find the right medicine. He told the doctor Marinettes symptoms and he prescribed her a strong medicine.

"Heyy princess, I'm back. The doctor said to take this twice a day for 3 days and you should be back to normal!"

"Thanks kitty."

Cat Noir gave her the medicine and had a little chat with her. He felt safe with Marinette like he did with Ladybug. He also seemed to notice a familiar smell coming from her. He has to feed her the medicine since her arms were to weal but whilst he was feeding her, he accidently sniffed her hair. He knew it smelt familiar but he couldn't tell where it was from so he just let it go. He went home after a while of talking with Marinette. He detransformed and flopped onto his bed.
