It was pouring outside of your school, students were leaving one by one. Some with someone to accompany them, some alone. You stood infront of the door looking at the rain
"Hey, you're not going home yet?" Jean asked with Connie right next to him, fixing his bookbag. "Oh, not yet i'm waiting for Mikasa" you said
Jean fixed his hair and took his school blazer off, "Alright then, i'll be leaving now. Go get her, tiger" he nudged your arm with a smirk. You pinched his ear making him wince and laugh
"Okay, okay i'll stop, come on conscience" he tapped Connie's shoulder before putting his blazer over his head and running out the school
"See you on Monday, Y/n!" Connie said before running after Jean, screaming at him with his bag over his head. You chuckled at the two then waited some more for Mikasa. After a few minutes she finally shows up and looks at you, and you were looking at her
"You didn't go with Jean and Connie?" she asked
You shaked your head and replied, "I was actually waiting for you, I didn't bring my umbrella so I thought we could go together"
Mikasa opens her umbrella and pulls you closer, "Ready?" she asked, one of her feet infront of the other, ready to walk out the school. You nod and both make your way to the bus stop. As tou wait you started a conversation with Mikasa
"So, Mika, do you like anyone in particular?" you asked while moving excessively
Mikasa looks at you and looks back to her phone, almost surprised "I'm not gonna be specific but they're my classmate, they're in the same row as my seat"
"Eren?" you guessed, Mikasa looked at you as if she was surprised, again. "What?" she said
"Don't you like him?"
Mikasa paused before looking around the place and pointing at the bus, "Oh look it's the bus, let's go to downtown and look at the lights!" she grabbed your hand and pulled you into the bus
Halfway through the bus ride, Mikasa somehow dozed off and put her head on your shoulder. You almost flinched but eased back realizing she was peacefully sleeping, you held her hand and gave her head a kiss, hoping she wasn't actually awake
She was the prettiest, her short black hair, the look in her eyes whenever she was happy and her personality. Everything about her was perfect to you
The bus ride lasted a few more minutes, the sun was almost set by then. You finally made it to your stop and the bus shook a bit, waking Mikasa up, she looks up at you and you smiled
"Goodmorning sleepyhead"
She smiled back and yawned, "Goodmorning, shall we?" she asked standing up and fixing herself. You both thanked the bus driver and got off the bus. The streets were damp and there a cool breeze, the city lights looked beautiful as usual and people were enjoying themselves
You interlocked your hands with Mikasa and started walking, "So what do you wanna do?" you asked
Mikasa thought then asked, "Could we get something to eat?" you agree and start looking for food both of you would like
The rest of the night was full of laughs, hand holding and so on. After all the fun, it was getting late and Mikasa got a text from Eren, and you got a text from your parents

"You bored?" Mikasa asked
"No, not really" you replied and stretched. You awkwardly stood there with her for a few seconds before she spoke up, "Well, I think i should get going" she showed the text from eren
You read it then nodded, "Okay, do you want me to walk you home?" you asked, she shakes her head "No it's fine, your parents must be looking for you too, you should be going home now too"
In the end, you walked her home. You were still in downtown, waiting for a ride. You looked around and saw the lights on the side of buildings on display, everything about the place made you feel somewhat at ease. You looked at Mikasa then looked away, arguing with yourself in your head
"Hey, Mikasa" you tapped her shoulder, she turned around and looked at you "What is it?" the lights from one of the buildings reflecting on her. You hesitated before leaning forward and kissing her. Her eyes were wide open and you's slowly closing
"I like you"
You pulled away ready for her reaction, good or bad, you were ready for it. She grabbed your blazer and pulled you back in for another kiss, her eyes were shut and it lasted longer than before, "I like you, Y/n L/n" she whispered
"You're the person I like" she added, everything just slowed down right then and there, the only thing on your mind was Mikasa
