". . . And that's another date in the trash," I tsked deleting the so-called dating app that I've been using for a month. "Why did I even try this stupid thing?!"
Turning around and paying the taxi driver that had dropped me off at my building. Anyway, that was enough dating for one day I had more issues up my sleeve. I glanced down at the time and sighed in relief, at six-thirty pm. Not too late to meet the new clients moving into the building's penthouse. Rushing up to the elevator, I made a quick stop by my apartment to grab the files and take a good look at the lady in the mirror. . . Still can't believe she is twenty-six and still single.
Just as I made my way back to the elevator, the first thing that caught my eye upon the doors opening was the bright red ginger head, who had his back turned to me. Awkwardly, I stepped in and it was then it dawned upon me that he was licking faces with another guy.
My jaw dropped . . . The documents fell out of my hands . . .and dropped my pen. The ginger jumped upon noticing my existence. I had never seen such tongue movements up close and I wasn't sure whether I was experiencing jealously or disgust. "M-MA'AM PLEASE FORGIVE US!" his partner interrupted, wiping his lips with the sleeve of his formal white blouse, before reaching out for my documents to make up for the incident.
I on the other hand just remain in utter shock and simply flustered at how pretty he was. Long brown hair tied into a loose ponytail, a formal black vest and pants matching with a white blouse and the lovely, golden, dragon buckle of his belt. I might have stared too long at the carefully crafted engraving on the belt, for his cheeks flushed pink as he handed me back my documents. I hesitantly took them back as he adjusted the frame of his glasses against the bridge of his nose, before looking away shyly.
I reached out to reassure him it was fine, but the ginger head jumped in front of me and looked down with a bitter expression, "Don't touch him."
"Excuse me, if I was just trying to tell him it okie," I glared, lightly slapping the guy on the chest with the documents. "If you're so better don't worry too much, Hmph!"
I frustratingly pressed the button to the top floor and straighten my shirt in an attempt to look more "class " and refused to look at the pair next to me, despite them whispering among each other, mostly the seemingly older one who was called Zhongli from what I understood, scolding the ginger head named Ajax. " M-ma'am are you perhaps the owner of the building ?" Zhongli asked, tapping my shoulder, alas I did not reply and continued to glare at the doors.
