Is This What True Love Feels Like? [A Chaesoo Story]

Chapter 4

They see Jennie in the cafe they were planning to go to, with the boy Jisoo saw her with. Chaeyoung notices this.

"Do you want to go somewhere else?" Chaeyoung asked.

Jisoo notices Jennie in the cafe too.

"It's fine." Jisoo smiled.

They find a table and sits down. 

"What can I get for you today?" The waiter asked.

"I'll have a coffee and a sandwich." Jisoo replied.

"I'll have a water and a sandwich as well." Chaeyoung said before giving the waiter the menu. The waiter nodded before walking away.

Jennie notices Chaeyoung and Jisoo in the cafe as well. She walked over to their table.

"Were you following us?" Jennie said before slamming her hands on the table."

"No." Chaeyoung replied without looking at Jennie.

"You little-" Jennie said before getting interrupted.

"Your food is here." The waiter interrupted Jennie. He put the drinks and plates of food on their table before walking away.

"You guys are lucky today, next time I'm not letting you guys off the hook." Jennie says in a small voice before walking out the cafe with the boy.

"Don't mind her." Chaeyoung comforts the unsettled Jisoo.

They walk back to the dorm together. 

"Thanks for everything today." Jisoo smiled warmly.

"It's okay..." Chaeyoung replied. 

"I-" Jisoo was interrupted by a large slam on the front door. Lisa came out of her room to check if everything's fine. A drunk Jennie appeared at the door. She looked like she was about to faint from all the alcohol she had consumed. 

"J-Jennie..." Jisoo stuttered, concerned about her health.

"You! You animal!" The drunk Jennie blurted out. Jennie grabs Jisoo's hand and pulls it, trying to get her outside.

Chaeyoung grabbed both of their hands and separated them.

"What are you trying to do? We needed some alone time." Jennie grumbled before pushing Chaeyoung down on the ground.

"Chaeyoung!" Jisoo bent down and picks her up from the ground.

Lisa pulls Jennie into her room to try and calm her down.

"Are you okay?" Jisoo asked.

Chaeyoung nodded. 

"What about you?" Chaeyoung asked before inspecting her now bruised arm. 

"It's nothing, it's just a bruise." Jisoo takes her arm back.

Chaeyoung took the ointment that Jisoo gave her and applied it onto Jisoo's bruise.

"Thanks." Jisoo replied with a smile.

Chaeyoung ruffles Jisoo's hair playfully before walking back to her room.
