"Percy!" I yell, letting out a laugh as he tries to push me towards the edge of the cliff, begging me to swim with him in the cool water below us.

"What?"

"No! I don't want to swi-" and I'm over the edge, wrapped up in his arms. "Percy!"

We hit the water and he laughs as we come to standing, seeing my frown.

"You're something else, Seaweed Brain."

"You love me." He kisses my forehead. "Besides, I have something planned."

"Getting sopping wet?"

"Turn around!" He says. I listen, and behind me, the cove is lit up with twinkling lights. A blanket with a picnic basket sits right in the middle.

I let out a small gasp. "Percy..."

"We've both been really busy ever since we got jobs and we haven't had time just go on a little adventure. It's nothing much but I thought-"

"It's perfect." He smiles.

That was the night that Percy had proposed. Within that year, we had our wedding, right up on our cliff. The weather was perfect and we got to dance out under the stars again, but this time, as husband and wife.

Today, I put down an investment to officially buy the property from the city. It wasn't that hard to persuade them, as they were convinced the land was useless space.

It was a surprise for him, and I hoped to have the framework for a home done by his birthday. I would just have to keep him away until then.

My plan was made easier when he told me that we would have to travel for a marine rescue that he had to perform. I give all of the plans to Hestia and her team, and make her promise to keep me updated as I went with him.

When we returned, I made sure to keep Percy away from the cliff for as long as possible.

"Want to go for a dive?"

"Can we mini golf instead?" We did. He would always do whatever it took to make me happy.

"Annabeth, how about we go for a picnic at the cliff?"

"I'd rather stay home tonight, sorry Seaweed Brain. I've just been really-"

"No, it's okay. I get it." It hurt me to see him so upset, but I knew that I couldn't ruin the surprise.

I had been checking on the progress multiple times, and I was hopefully that the team would have it completed by September. They were much farther ahead than I had initially planned. I had imagined framework by his birthday in August, but we would soon be done.

"This is looking great!" I exclaim.

"I made sure to get the whole crew on it," Hestia tells me. "We stopped our other project for this."

"Hestia! You didn't need to do that!"

"Yes I did. You and Percy have been married for nearly a year. You can't live in that same old apartment for too much longer. It only has one bedroom. You'll never get a break if you have a baby."

"Hestia, I'm not even pregnant, so that's still at least about nine months out."

"Well, make it quick. I've already planned a nursery for you."
