Y/n POV

Carlisle took me in atleast a hundred years ago. I was a victim of rape, just like my twin sister Rosalie.

Her fiance and his gang left us to die after they were done with us. Carlisle found us on the sidewalk, where we were left. He turned both of us, tragic isn't it. Neither of us wanted this life, we didn't choose this. I'm sure Rose would have been left to die too.

Rosalie and I where out hunting, until the smell of human blood filled the air. I sped over to where the scent was coming from. Rose not to far behind me, then I saw him, my true mate.

"You're such a child! Get over it Emmet!" I say playfully, rolling my eye's. I beat him once more at chess. "Why'd they make this so complicated!" He groans, putting the board away. "It's a simple game get over it you big baby" I tell him, giving him a hug. Emmet hugs me back, "Can we play checkers? It's way easier!" He tries to reason with me. "It's really just the baby version of chess!" I tell him, pushing away. "Besides it's our turn to hunt", his eyes light up.

"She's a newborn Emmy, do you really expect to beat her in a hand wrestle?" I ask him. "It can't be that hard Y/n." He kisses me before walking to Bella to start the challenge.

He underestimated Bella, she beat him, and she broke the poor rock. What did the rock ever do to her? I sat on the couch with Emmet in my lap, he's embarrassed for losing. I kiss the top of his head and whisper sweet nothings to him.

We stood there, waiting, waiting for the Volturi. Emmet brings me in, to where he's holding my waist, whilst I stand in front of him. "If we live can we finally get married?" He asked me, I was taken aback. This was the question I thought he never would ask me. "Yes Emmy. Yes." I replied softly, "I love you Y/n" Emmet says, turning me around to kiss him for a brief second.
