So I totally get it if you are completely confused after this chapter, and if you wish for me to explain then by all means message or comment your questions, to which I would be happy to answer within the next chapter! I know this one is kind of an "uhh" chapter, but trust me when I say I'm a big filler girl, so I will definitely try to get those out as soon as possible and get to the real story. ~Cheerio for now ^^

There he was, in all his magnificent glory. I could tell now why they took him away from me, because he was so unlike the rest of the other guardians and so very like me. His hair was shoulder length black and his skin was a deep tan that mimicked mine in a yin yang comparison. Although unlike the others he had tattoos similar to mine but bigger and all over his naked body. To which I blushed at the sight of his heavily muscled body, and knew by the look of him that he was around 6 something in height.

Nearing the tank filled with an unknown liquid I finally felt the weight on my shoulders lift and knew that even though I wasn’t finished, that I was nearly halfway. That even if I didn’t make it, that I would be happy to just see him once. Putting my hand to the glass I was suddenly shocked to look into coal black eyes that stared bewildered and surprised back into my blue ones.

~why?~ he asked within our mind connection, clearly confused as to why I was here, but knowing who I was.

Getting frustrated after years of not being able to be with my own guardian I looked him straight in the eyes while my hand neared the blue button that would open the hatch to his cylindrical cell.

“Because you are mine” I pressed the button down and the doors flew open. Slopping me with the unknown liquid. Catching his body I fell to the ground with him and knew what he felt as he convulsed before passing out into a sleep that was slightly awake.

All of a sudden an alarm was heard throughout the building and I looked to my guardian who was in my arms finally.

~I know you can hear me, and I need your help~ I thought to him, but he moaned allowed; which to me was like sweet music to my ears.

~ I need you to transform into your true form, so I can car--~

Without another word he cringed before he turned into a little black ball of fire and shivered in my hands. Standing up I put him in my shirt which was strange but necessary for me to have hands to operate to get me the hell out of the building, and for him to warm up from the unfamiliar atmosphere.

Walking down the same hall where the two male bodies lay I was surprised and eerily confused to not see anybody on the ready to attack me. Once in the elevator I clicked the bottom floor and awaited the last ding.

‘ I have him…’ I said in the intercom that was still attatched to my ear.

‘Good, now be careful, there are hundreds of elites awaiting you on the last floor’ Ross said, before Todd came in.

‘Don’t die’

Smirking I looked down my shirt to the black ball, ‘Not a chance’.

The doors opened and as I stood there I was surprised to not see as many elites as expected but knew that with my luck there were bound to be more. However to my utter curiosity I was rather intrigued to see at least five of the heads to the corporation in front of the elites.

“Here to make a deal?” I asked with an amused smirk as I made my way slowly and carefully out the elevator doors, my hands behind my back as I toyed with my feet movement.

“Yes, and it is a very good deal too Miss Selventore” Said the most recognized men of the team, known only as doctor Graindak who was the scientist to create the guardians.

Chuckling loudly, I paused mid stride and kept toying with my feet, but readied my position and looked up just in time to see the rope to a loose kiosk cord in the direction of the door.

“Well, Mr. Graindak, I am sorry to inform you that with many years of work and punishment…. I won’t be giving him back anytime soon” I said, awaiting my chance and readying the attack.

“Then Miss Selventore… have a wonderful death” the assistance of the board said before all of the elite charged forward and that’s when I took my  chance and headed for the cord. Jumping I grabbed on and swung myself to where I only had to step on two heads. With a thud I landed and ran out the door, where I was confronted with more guards. Smirking I stood and took a deep breath in before I held it in place. This was one of my many weird attributes to being abnormal for a human. I made the world stop to give me enough time to get free, with the others coming in all directions I left two illusion bombs on the ground that gave the holoform of me and took off. Knowing all too well that I only had about 45 seconds left to get the hell out of there.

Running I knew that the time I had was now done with, and I saw the BMW bike that Ross always left for me to get out ‘in style’ as he called it, and revved the engine alive.

‘Ross, can you here me?’ I asked and noticed as the bomb went off that, that was when they realized I was gone.

‘Yeah, what’s wrong? Did you get out okay?’ he asked, but then heard engines behind me.

‘Yeah I got out fine, but I am currently being chased by three elites with way better guns than me!’ I yelled and tried to rev the bike faster. To my luck it did and I sped trying to get them off of my tail. Seeing an alleyway I took it and awaited Ross on the other end, ‘We’re on our way’ was his last response before I was alone with my guardian, me, and three elites.
