Chapter 17

~The Next Day~

India's pov

Today is the day everyone came to see the twins and I was kind of mad that everyone one was holding them except me ...August kept harassing people because they holding them the wrong way ...its amazing how much August really cares for them even tho they were just born yesterday

Tomorrow would be the day The twins first go home and I couldn't wait to get out of here because I really hate hospitals after what happened the last....never mind that's a story for a different day

I got up out the bed slowly so I wouldn't hurt myself...no one saw me because they were to wrapped up in the Twins... I grabbed my bag and walked into the bathroom I locked the doors and turned on the shower water I took off of my night gown and slowly stepped in ..letting the stemming hot water hit all the sore spots on my body

I washed up with my cucumber melon body wash and stayed in there until the water was cold

Once I was out the shower I dried off with my towel and put on some panties and the hospital gown before walking back out to the room where everyone was still enjoying the twins company....

I layed down on the bed feeling a lot better than I was before and grabbed my phone and posted a picture of the twins and August doing skin to skin that I took last night...the caption was I love these three...❤️💯💯 once I posted it my notifications instantly blew up with likes and comments

I sat my phone down and turned on the tv and laid back into my bed...I slowly closed my eyes and drifted off into a deep sleep while everyone enjoyed the twins...

August pov:

Once everyone left I put the twins into the cribs and walked over to the chair that sat next to India's bed...I sat down and stared at her she's been sleep for a good four hours and I'm just gonna let her stay that way because she looks so peaceful

India: baby why are you staring at me like that

Me: I thought you were sleep

India: I was but then I felt you staring at me

She said finally opening her eyes and sitting up on the bed

India: where are my babies ??

She said looking around the room

Me: their in the crib

I said pointing to them

India: I can't wait to take my babies home tomorrow

Me: yea me too but honestly I'm a little scared because this is all new for me

India: I am too that's why im happy that you get to experience this with me and that your my first for everything because I wouldn't have been able to experience this before

Me: what do you mean???

India: nothing

Me: naww baby just talk to me I'm here for you now

She stared at me for a minute and then she stared up to the ceiling as tears began to roll down her cheek

India: he raped me

Me: what are you talking about??? Who raped you???

India: James

Me: baby tell me what happened

India: ok

* FlashBack *

It's been 3 whole days and I haven't seen James like where the fuck could he be I said to myself as I laid on my bed rubbing my belly I was six months pregnant with my baby girl i cant believe hes been gone for so long ....he has to be cheating just know he is....

in the middle of thinking i heard the front door bust open and the aroma of liquor rushed down the hallway of my small condo...

the bedroom door opened and it caused the picture of me my mom and my sister to fall on the floor and shatter when James appeared i stood up from the bed getting ready to snap

me: where the fuck have you been ? you leave for three days and you dont even tell me where you are

thats when he gave me a look that no one has ever givin me in my whole entire life .... he pushed me on the and began to rip off my clothes ...i tried to fight back but he wasnt having it he tied me up and put tape over my mouth so no one would here me scream he plunged himself inside of me and thats when the pain began

i just laid there and took the pain...

when he was finished he untied me and snatched the tape off of my mouth he rolled over into a deep slumber while I on the other hand I cried myself to sleep

~Why do these bad things always happen to good people ~

*still in the Flashback (but the next day) *

The next day I woke up with a sharp pain in the bottom of stomach when I finally open my eyes the pain had gotten worse

I got out the bed to go to the bathroom when the unthinkable happened

There was blood dripping from my body and that's when I lost it

I picked up a lamp and through it at the wall beside James and he instantly shot up

James: baby what's wrong

He said walking over to me

Me~ d-don't t-touch me

I said grabbing my robe and putting it on and grabbing some of the things I own and ran out of the place that I will never see again

*end of Flashback *

India: and that's when I came to Atlanta and met you but I need to go back to that house in California and get my things

Me: but what if he's there?? , how long ago was this??

India: that's why I want you to come with me, and it was 3 days before I met you ...

Me: but you didn't have a baby bump

India: that's because I wore a waste trainer and I had a fit pregnancy so my stomach wasn't so big

Me: ohh what were you going to name her??

India: Ava

She said finally turning towards me
