Heart Horse ~ My horseback riding story

Here I'am, terrified, waiting for a text message from my friend telling me who I will be riding in my lesson tonight. The reason I'm terrified is because 2 days ago I gained a fear for my old favourite horse, Sparrow, here's some back story..

Last summer i started riding Sparrow and she was the perfect horse for me, she taught me how to deal with taller horses as she is 17hh, for context the tallest horse i'd ridden prior was 16hh but anyways she taught me so many things, but she is a very old horse and only could be ridden once a day, she had 3 off days, so after awhile i slowly stopped riding her. Now we have a big time skip. The date is now december 16th 2021 and I got put on Sparrow for the first time in months. I was so excited, as we were riding she was throwing her head up and down quite a lot which was quite odd for her but i didn't pay it any attention, until, he started doing our jump course, everything was going well until she jumped straight in the air and went forward quickly causing me to fall on her butt and off her back doing a flip.

There ya have it, the reason my fear of Sparrow started, but it doesn't stop there.

Then december 28th comes, i show up for my lesson and i was put on Sparrow, my heart dropped i was terrified but i decided to just ride her even though i was on the verge of tears from fear, once we got on she was clearly not having it after awhile i was so scared i started crying and i got off early.

So ya there is my fear of Sparrow.

Back to the present.

I get the text saying I'm on...
