Stuck with you

First day

I was in the car with billy, staring out the window on the way to school. It was my first day at Hawkins high school. I probably should've been nervous but I've done this so many time it doesn't matter. We pulled up to the school and I got out of the car and so did billy. I saw 3 girls staring at billy as he walked away.
"Hey y/n." Billy called out.
I turned around to face him.
"What?" I asked.
"If your even a second late later, your walking home." He shouts.
I role my eyes and walked inside the school. I saw all kinds of students but I had no intention of talking to anyone. I'll just end up moving away in a year. I found my locker and put my backpack inside as a girl came beside me.
"Oh hi! I'm Nancy! Are you new here?"
"Oh um ya how'd you know?"
"Well that lockers been empty the whole year."
"Oh... wellll bye then." I turned to walk away but she interrupted
"Wait um have you met any friends yet?" She asked me
"Uhh no not really."
"Wanna meet my freinds? You seem like the kind of person they'd like!" She says
"Um I-" before I could say anything a guy walked up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder. Nancy turned to look at him and smiled.
" this is my boyfriend Steve!" Steve smiled at me but he seemed like he didn't like me or something.
"Steve this is- oh I never got your name actually."
"It's y/n."
"Well y/n you should meet jonethan! You guys might turn out to be freinds!" Just as she said that someone caught her attention.
"Oh y/n I have to go! Hopefully I'll see you again!" She turned and walked away yelling at someone to wait up, leaving me and Steve alone.
"Look y/n. I don't know what you want, but I heard your a Hargrove. And Hargroves don't have a good reputation around here. So just leave me and Nancy alone and be on your way." He said
"Look man. I'm not like my brother ok? And trust me I'd rather talk to no one so I won't talk to you guys anymore anyway."
"Ok whatever." He turned any walked away.
I was wondering the halls trying to find my next class when a girl stopped me and gave my a invite to a party in a few days.
I put it in my pocket expecting to never see it again.
In my first class I just sat and listened to music. In the second one I saw that Nancy was in it to but I don't think she noticed me. In my third I did the same as the first, but in my fourth class I realized that me and Steve sat right next to eachother. Great.
As class was getting started I could see Steve glaring at me in the corner of my eye. Nothing really interesting happened that day but I could tell it was going to be a very interesting year.
After school I went to go smoke in the bathroom but I walked in on Steve and Nancy making out.
"Ew what the fuck?" I said
"Oh sorry y/n um-" I cut her off
"You know what never mind carry on." I said as I walked out
Instead I went to the back of the school knowing very well I would have to walk home because of billy.
When I was done smoking I went to the front of the school and to no surprise there was no billy.
I started walking home but something wasn't right. I was on the road and it was getting dark when I looked up ahead and saw a strange figure that didn't look human but it wasn't an animal either.
*whispers* "what the fu-" it started running after me so I ran into the woods but tripped on a vine and fell and then it went black.
*2 hours later* I opened my eyes, remembering what had happened. I looked at my watch and realized I was in so much trouble. I got up and started walking to my house. My head hurt so much but if I was any later billy would kill me.
I made it home and saw billy on the front porch. He probably saw my head was bleeding but didn't care.
"We're have you been?" He said coldly but I could tell he was about to yell
"Uhh I fell and-"
he slapped me before I could finish
"Jesus y/n. If you are ever this late again I'll fucking kill you."
"Fuck you billy."
He stood there for 3 seconds before dragging me inside. I could see my sister max behind a wall watching. I really didn't want her to see what was about to happen. Billy broke a vase while dragging me. He punched me in the face and pushed me onto the broken glass. My arms started bleeding a ton.
"Go to hell." He whispered in my ear
He walked away and I ran to my room and started putting bandages on my arm while crying.
"Y/n? Are you ok?" Max walked in
"Oh my god y/n I'm so sorry!"
"It's- it's alright max." I said trying to hide my tears
"You sure?"
"Ya. Ya I'm fine."
"Well before billy got to you I was gonna ask you if you were doing anything for Halloween? I saw a flyer for this party I think you should go to!" She said. I could tell she was trying to cheer me up.
"Well I was thinking about it. I think I will."
