Clasp of life

Chapter 23

Daisy opens her eyes and sits up on the very familiar floor. She looks around and stands up. She looks at the clock and sees it was time for breakfast. She starts the coffee machine and assembles the ingredients to start breakfast. She was used to this schedule and mindlessly did her chores. But today something didn't feel right and her heart was beating a little louder than usual, reminding her of something or about someone.
Suddenly, a brick of realisation hit her when she realised she was back in Raffaele's mansion.

Daisy panics and rushes out of the kitchen. She starts shedding tears realising she was back in hell. She rushes to the front door which never opened to her to escape. She had gotten lucky once but she doubted she may get lucky ever again. She bangs at the door and cries hopelessly.
"Daisy" calls the voice which bought a chill down her spine. She turns to see Raffaele shirtless, barefoot, and wearing only sweatpants.

"Come here" calls Raffaele and Daisy didn't dare disobey. She walks toward Raffaele cursing her bad luck. She stands in front of him with her head bowed down and was ready for the worse.
"Go get me coffee, Daisy," says Raffaele, and a very shocked Daisy walks away to obey his order.
She serves him his morning coffee after she wipes her tears. He always took his coffee in front of the TV watching the news.
"People die like ants these days. I am doing a social service by kidnapping them at a young age and selling them to be used. They get to live a few days more and make me rich" laughs Raffaele drinking his coffee.

Daisy watches him carefully for him to say something to her but after he finished his coffee he smiles at her and says "I want my eggs scrambled today, Daisy" and walks back to his room to get ready.

Daisy prepares his eggs as he wanted and served him his breakfast.
"Nothing like a hot breakfast from my hot wife," says Raffaele and smacks her butt.
Daisy was still confused and watching him do something out of the ordinary.
He looks at her watching him and says "I know you love me. Stop adoring me and go get your bowl or do you wish to starve today"
Daisy looks at the dog bowl at the edge of the dining table. She picks it up and walks to Raffaele. She kneels near his feet and holds out the dog bowl for him to spare her some leftovers. She had to hold that bowl out till Raffaele finished his food. He drops a few bites of his toast, half-eaten apple, and some eggs pieces. He would also give her some coffee spill in the dog bowl with the rest of the breakfast which would soak the food in coffee.
Today however he didn't spill the rest of the coffee in her bowl and told her to eat her so-called breakfast.

Raffaele looks at Daisy and says "I told you yesterday I will free you. Free you from me which is death. But I changed my mind and will keep you around for some more days"
Daisy was confused. What did he mean yesterday? Didn't she escape him a few months back? Wasn't she with Magnus and Penny?

"See you later, Daisy baby," says Raffaele and pulls her closer.
"I am gonna miss you," says Raffaele kissing her lips and leaving the mansion.

Daisy stood in her place confused. Was this a dream or what she lived in these past months a dream? Did she dream of escaping? Did she even meet Penny and Magnus?
The room starts to spin and before Daisy could understand what was happening, the ground beneath her started to shake and all went pitch black.

Daisy opens her eyes after god knows when and finds herself on the bed with someone over her. He was kissing her neck and rubbing his clothed dick on her core. She tried to move him to see who it was and to her despair, it was Raffaele.
"Good you are alive. I was not in a mood to fuck a dead body today" says Raffaele and kisses her lips. He sits up on his knees and starts to unbutton his shirt.
"I love you, Daisy baby," says Raffaele and after removing his shirt, he starts to undo his pants but stops when his phone rings. He picks up the call and says "ok"
He gets off and says "I'll be back" and leaves the room.

Daisy follows him outside the bedroom and spots Raffaele talking to a few of his men. Daisy sees Aiden and had wide eyes. She slowly approaches him and stands in front of him.
Aiden looks at her and asks "what?" Irritated.
Daisy wets her lips and looks at Raffaele who was at a distance talking to a few men. She looks back at Aiden and whispers "Magnus"
"What about him?" Asks Aiden.
"You know him?" Asks Daisy.
"What's wrong with you?" Asks Aiden irritated.

Daisy was about to ask more but two hands wraps around her waist.
"You wanna fuck my wife?" Asks Raffaele from behind Daisy.
"No thank you. I want to live to get rich working for you boss" says Aiden.
"Smart man. Daisy baby, don't be desperate and wait for me in our room. I'll come fuck you. You don't have to go ask my men to fuck you. Go" says Raffaele and sends Daisy away.

Daisy was pulling her hair and was beyond confused. She couldn't have imagined Magnus or Penny. She knew she met them. She knew she escaped. Then why is Raffaele saying it was only yesterday he left promising to return and kill her? Where did the few months go?

"Daisy" calls Raffaele and she rushed to him and says "what am I doing back here? I escaped"
"No, you didn't. You were here with me all the time. What are you talking about?" Says Raffaele.
"No, I left. I remember Penny. I held her in my arms. She was so sweet and nice and I love her so much. And then Magnus. I remember Magnus" says Daisy and receives a hard slap.
"You remember no one. You are my wife and you belong here with me till your death do us apart" says Raffaele and stumps her back with his shoe.
"We are not married" whispers Daisy.
"What did you say?" Asks Raffaele and fists her hair and screams "you are my wife. Understand? MY. WIFE"
"I don't want you. I don't love you" says Daisy building up the courage to do or die.
"SHUT UP. You love me. I love you" says Raffaele and kicks her ribs.
"I don't love you. I love Magnus" says Daisy and Raffaele stood silent.
"Love?" Says Raffaele and starts laughing.
"If he loved you, he wouldn't send you to me to save his daughter. Yeah, he sacrificed you to save his daughter" says Raffaele.
"Is Penny ok?" Asks Daisy.
"Not for long. He thought I would forget his beating the shit out of me, keeping my wife away from me. I am going to do everything he did to you, to his daughter" says Raffaele, and Daisy scream no. Raffaele bends down close to Daisy and says "Don't worry Daisy baby. I'll let you watch" and laughs. He stops when he feels something on his cheek. He glares at Daisy who had slapped him.
"Don't do anything to Penny" says Daisy glaring back with anger.
"You have grown some balls living with that Magnus bitch. Don't worry, I'll cut them off" says Raffaele and drags her to a wardrobe and pushes her in it. Daisy was banging on the closed door which never opened to her cries.

It was hours later when Daisy was finally let out of the wardrobe.
"I see that you are finally coming out of the closet" laughs Raffaele seeing Daisy crawl out. She looks up at the smiling face in front of her.
"Stop looking at me like that. You are making me blush" says Raffaele who fists her hair and drags her out of the room towards the kitchen.
"You know how much I love you? Of course, you do, I have constantly reminded you" says Raffaele and throws her in front of something.
It was an old rag and it seemed like it had something under it.
"Look what's under it. There may be a small dead animal or a.. hmm... I don't know, a small dead little girl" says Raffaele with a smirk and Daisy's heart dropped thinking it might be Penny.

Daisy looks at the rag and starts crying when she sees blood spots on it. She hesitantly with shaky hands lifts the rag to see what was under it and screams at the top of her lungs making Raffaele laugh out loud.
