/Tom's POV\
The same air kept pouncing back on me on the walk home, "What does it want?" I thought to myself, kicking the stones next to me.
By the time I got back to my tree, it was midnight. The shadows were lurking around outside of my wall - but it didn't bother me. I slumped onto my bed, untied my shoes, and changed into my comfy pyjamas that Martha knitted for me not long ago. I pondered about Dianite - did he really mean what he said? After a while, I drifted off into a sleep - a nightmare.
"Join us, he doesn't want you anymore"
"Remember me?"
"It's only just beginning.."
My eyes shot open, as I felt a liquid trickle down my wrist, "Huh..blood?!" I whispered gently to myself as I noticed a gaping cut where the blood was coming from, the problem was - it was black. I rubbed around the area of the cut, but no pain, but as I touched the cut, waves of pain flushed through my body. "SHIT!" I silently cried, and searched around the bedside tables for something to bandage the thing hastily. I wrapped a cloth around my wrist, as the dark liquid quickly spread around it, making me fall into unconsciousness.. and more darkness.
"You've killed him once, why not again?"
"Betrayal is key!"
"Leave no survivors, fill the land with pain!"
Swords were clashing, the land was filled with blood, and then a ghostly figure turned to me, "We knew you were gonna come back."
I painfully shifted around, and my eyes started to open "You awake yet..?" A familiar but distant voice whispered to me. My eyes were throbbing, but I managed to keep my vision straight. I noticed a faded aura around the being, and that being wearing something green, and a material wrapped around his face - It was.. Nade?
"Nade?! What are you doing here?" I winced, trying to sit up but Nade pushed me back down, "So, I heard you left Dianite?" I groaned, but gave a small smile to appreciate his presence. "Yes, shocked?" He chuckled, and sat down next to me holding his knee - "Back in.. Mianite. Death wanted you, he needed you.. and you refused, refused, refused for that petty God you called Dianite, and you're the one pleading for a God now?" Kicking him harshly in the leg, I sat up, observing my room for any changes. "Death was just a test from Dianite and I never 'pleaded' for a God whatsoever, so what's the deal?"
He sniggered, and rummaged for something in his pocket and paused. "I'm afraid.. you're wrong." He pulled out a demonic knife, and swiftly stabbed it deep into my leg, forcing me to cry out and everything - once again.. To go dark./No POV\
Nade and the Shadows were lurking around everyone's house - Sonja's, Jordan's, Tucker's, even Wag's. Then, the search ended up to Tom's tree and Death himself was there this time, carefully keeping an eye on Tom. "He's still got it." Nade nodded to Death, as Death continuously observed Tom.
The weeks passed, and Death was always by Tom's side, constantly watching over him, watching him battle the others and victoriously win. Until one day."It's time."
