Chapter 4: Recruited

/Tom's POV\
I quickly shot awake, panting nervously at what I just witnessed, and realised that Nade was sitting by my leg, bandaging it. Where he stabbed me was a large scar, and I tried to keep my leg as stable as possible.

"Ay! You're up!" Nade cheered, but I wasn't impressed.

"Because you f*cking stabbed me in the leg for no reason.." I sighed under my breath, making Nade chuckle and turn his body towards me.

"Haven't y-" He paused. For a moment, he just sat there staring at the wall behind me looking like he was trying to say something, but couldn't get it out. Then, he made his way towards my door and held it open, expecting me to walk outside. I managed to facepalm.
"What's the matter?" Nade asked, quite confused.

"You."

"What about me?"

"How the f*ck am I supposed to walk with one leg?!"

Nade started to giggling, spreading it onto me. He walked back over to my limp body, and slipped one arm under my legs and the other under my neck, making me abruptly burst out laughing. Nade scrunched his eyebrows and started laughing at me.

"What's so funny dude?"

"It tickles! Stahp!" I can't contain it and try to wiggle my way out of his arms, but he continuously to playfully tickle my neck making him laugh with me.After a while it started to irritate me, and I lightly pushed him a few times but he still didn't stop. I kicked and flailed my arms and legs around, but he still continued. In the end, I ended up screaming,

"STOP!" and kicking my leg straight up into his face, making him fling me up and land on my hard wood floor with a loud THUMP.

"OW!" I cried out in pain, sheepishly clutching my back. Nade rubbed his chin from where I kicked him, and slumped me over his shoulder bridal style. He walked around my island for a little bit after we calmed, questioning what everything was - Temple of Legends, the Smeltery, my factory and lots more. Also on the tour, Nade finally met Steve!

"Ello mate! Who's this person carryin' you about, do I need to give 'im a right rumble mate?" I turned my body around to see Steve at his farm, feeding the sheep. He started approaching us, rolling up his sleeves with a worried expression on his face.

"Ay, dude! Chill bro!" Nade started to walk backwards - or forwards to me, constantly turning behind him and back to Steve.

"No - Steve! He's a friend from.. the other world." I grinned at Matt - I mean Nade.. who was staring at me in utter confusion, and leaving us in an awkward silence.

"Erm.. Nice to meet ya mate!" Steve held out his hand, giving a friendly smile. Nade was just standing there staring at Steve's hand, then his face - why won't he shake hands? In the end, they ended up shaking hands, and we were all chatting for a long period of time. Steve put some ointment on my scars and re-bandaged them, and then we all started talking about how we got to Ruxomar, and how the others and I got to the a Realm of Mianite.
Steve worked at a dock in his hometown called Balesby off the coast of Australia, and one day he was invited to sail off to the West in hope to find a different food source apart from fish and growing carrots. When they arrived at the town Urulu, Steve fell in love with the culture of the town, even including the calm deserts surrounding it. Instead of finishing the task, Steve decided to start a new life and become what he'd always wanted to be - a farmer. Not only did they have a vast selection of refreshing fruits and veg, Steve came across his most loved and delicious food he had ever had in his life, apples.
Before he could fulfil his aspiration, (A/N 'aspiration' was the 666th word muhahaha ^,*) he decided to become a.. um.. male stripper, but found someone who would love him dearly in the future - Martha.
Not only did the two meet, but that was also the hometown of my alternate self - Mot.
