(I'm trying to write in a different way, so it may be a little different!)
Mae's POV
I looked at the tall tree and saw Cameron! I slowly backed away but stepped on a twig.
He looked at me and started yelling for me. I turned around and started running for the house. As soon as I got there I grabbed my duffel bag that was already packed.
*2 months later*
I have a pretty good life now. I work at Star Bucks, and have my own 'nicer apartment. I'm dating this boy named Jack Gilinsky.
I told him about my past with 'him'. He said he used to know Cameron, but they aren't on the best terms.
You are probably wondering where I went when I left? Well when I applied here, I seen Shawn. I told him about what happened, and he let me stay with him until I got on my feet.
I haven't seen Cameron since the night I left. It was hard the first month. I was missing Hayes, Nash, and even... Cameron.
Right now, I'm in Star Bucks. My shift ends in about 15 minutes. My phone vibrated.
Babe: Hey babe, I'll be there to pick you up! :*
Me: Okay! :*
I was snapped out of my thoughts, when the door bell went off, meaning someone else walked in.
I looked up from my phone to see, Cameron? Oh shit. Oh shit!
He looked at me. Our eyes connected. The whole word stopped moving. I looked away.
He walked up. I tried not to look at him and just do my job.
"What would you like to order?" I asked.
"Mae?" He asked, sounding surprised. I slowly nodded. "Now what would you like to order?!" I snapped. I could feel the tears start forming. He ordered and i walked away.
After I served him his drink, the door rung again. I sighed, but was quickly relieved when I seen Jack walk in!
I walked up to him and stood on my tippy toes to kiss him. I could feel eyes burning into me. I turned around to see Cameron staring at me. I looked away.
We walked out the door, and headed home.
