To You on our Wedding day

Day 1

To you..., 

I'm writing this to give to you on our wedding day. This will be even better than my vows to you We've been on a crazy journey I was sure we weren't going to make it for a long time but we carried on, just like soldiers. Whenever something happened to us I wrote to you. so future hubby this is for you on our special day, here are our lives together through my letters 

The first time I remember seeing you; was when I couldn't see. I was on the ground after making a complete fool out of myself. I slowly looked up and was horrified the phones were about if my commanding officer saw this, I will be the butt of his jokes for the next 2 months.  My friends had just come back from deployment so that was the only upside to this. I made them laugh after some of the hardest months of their lives. We just wanted to celebrate that they were home. They were safe. I was in a different regiment to them so it's rare enough to see them.

Anyway sorry didn't mean to get side-tracked, where was I? Oh yes, I was talking about you and your ass of a group of friends, but I guess that can wait a little more. When I am writing this you don't even know what I looked like. you may have seen me with the slick back bun. kind of tiny but enough to still make it. You bumped into me with glasses, that's because while I wasn't on duty I could put the uniform up and the contacts away. That was all I remember about that night. Aside from the obvious seeing my friends after they went away to war.

(Add-In) Little did I know that; that day was going to change everything that I thought I knew. that I thought was right.
